Shifting Problem

Two of us just purchased 2 new 2016 Rubicon 500 with the automatic and manual shifting. Both are showing the same problem. If I use the manual model to shift up and down it sometime settles between gears lets say second and third and will not let me shift up or down. Most of the time I have to shut the machine off and wait about 1 minute and start it up and some times I have to push it forward and back and then I can shift again. My dealer can not figure out what is causing this and has had little luck with a solution from Honda yet. On the dash display when it does this instead of showing which gear it is in, it comes up with a horizontal line and will not go up or down. Has anyone else had the same problem and possibly a solution.

1989 Polaris Trail boss 250 2 Stroke Not Starting

Hello Forum,

Im new here to the ATV Forums, I recently purchased a 1989 Polaris Trail boss 250 2 stroke. Did not start when i bought it, figured i would learn a few things and try to get it to start myself. As i messed around with the Carb and put new fuel and oil in and also messed around with the starter i got it to crank, then as i researched more i bought a spark plug for it. The spark plug and the carb made it start but the ATV would start then just slowly die out after a couple seconds. So i figured it was back to the carb.. I took out the carb rebuilt it cleaned it out with spray and everything that was recommended doing and I tried it again it would start and slowly die out as before.

Also a little tip, When i start it up and it slowly dies out i spray more carb cleaner in the carb and then it revs back up again then dies out and i spray more and starts back up.. my guess is the carb but ive been trying to look for a carburetor online that would fit a 1989 polaris trail boss for so far no luck. Would love an feedback on maybe something im missing.

Thank you

Auto Stop HELP!

Just received the Auto Stop Hawse and I’m confused on the hook up. Instructions say to disconnect remote but I don’t have a remote. Do the two sets of short green and black wires just hang free if you don’t have a remote?

Maintenance suggestions after stuck in the mud/creek for 24 12 hours.

I have a new 850 SP and buried it in a muddy stream that went from solid to a mud hole and had to leave overnight and pull out in the morning. I have not even had my first service as I have not reached the 50 hour break in service. Appear to run fine and started right up. Had to trailer it after popping a tire in the process. Any experts out there that could recommend what I need to do from here? Should I take it to the Polaris dealer and have the fluids flushed out? Seasoned rider with new rookie mistake. Your help is greatly appreciated.
