I have been looking for an atv and recently bought a 2001 Honda trx350fm. The unit had 9000 km on I however I bought it with a rebuilt engine and a new rear end. Seems to drive fine. Smokes a bit but it was high on the oil level. It’s a full time 4×4 with a 5 speed semi auto.
The Was asking 3200 for it but I got it for 2750. Just curious if I go a decent price or if I jumped the gun and got hosed.

Asking this cause coming from Honda sport quads removing all the plastic took me 5 mins. Looking over the 15 scrambler I see tons of those black plastic clips. Looks like removing the plastic is going to take some TLC not to damage clips and not to mention getting them all off plus putting back together. What I’m getting at is does anyone remove all the plastic when cleaning the quad? Or do you just do your best with it on and how well does it clean up when you don’t remove the plastic? As most of us know new toys aren’t cheap we all want them to look great and last awhile. Any info would be great ….. Saturday will be my 1st time out on it so the count down has happen lol.

I just bought the above unit from someone. I noticed that during idle the quad has a "Chatter" from underneath. The noise goes away when you are moving it, or increase the throttle. I was told by the person that this was a quad that had a lot of different skid plates put in and that the noise was because of the skid plate. What do you all think?
