20% off VIPER ELITE 5000lb Winches

Hey Polaris ATV Gang,
We are offering 20% off our VIPER ELITE 5000lb winches through October 31.

Use the discount code: EX5000Winch20 on the final page of check out, give us a shout, or shoot us a PM if you want one.

The 5000lb may be a bit aggressive for the usual Sportsman. The reason for this sale is we ended up with a duplicate production run where we made 1000 EX5000 winches instead of 500. 🙂 So we are moving some out on discount.

So your price, right now, without mount is around $380 with free shipping and $420 with the mount. If you have some questions about winches and styles, here are some (hopefully) helpful videos that show some features and winches in action.

Finally, the ELITE comes with wireless, USA-made Amsteel Blue, stainless steel tie rods and hardware, and a full accessories kit with snatch block, cover, and line stopper.

Thanks for the great support over the years.

It was fun while it lasted

Well I’m riding the 2013 Foreman with with only 3,000 miles and I’m doing about 45 and boom loss of power starts to struggle to stay moving regains 50% of its power get it abput up to 40 cause I’m on the road and don’t wanna get hit cause its dark but anyway about 1/4 mile to turn on my street engine temp light comes on and it’s dies I let it roll turn on my street and push about 1/2 to my house ( you don’t know how heavy something is until you push it that far) I go to start it back up once I the engine temp like goes away and shoots some fire out the back trying to turn over and then just nothin. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be rebuild my engine or let the dealership do it cause its under warranty but idk if they will take it cause I was about 100 miles past my oil change light.

Is my quad ok?

About a week ago my rancher was sunk. Well, I got that running like new after but I forgot about my TRX250X. When I was towing the rancher back to the parking area, the 250 got so hot it stalled. I let it cool for half an hour but it was really hot. Do y’all think I could’ve messed anything up?

Rock Sliders

I’m about to pick up a RZR 900S and definitely want rock sliders on it. Looking at the purpose and my projected use I feel the type that taper wider at the rear wheel will serve my purpose better than a low profile type. Need voice of experience here since this is my first SXS. What are some brands that will serve this purpose and be durable.

Winch install

OK,

So as many of you might know from a past post… I am working on purchasing a new machine. I want to add a Polaris 3500lb winch, plow, brush guard, bumpers, etc. The dealer has quoted me a price to add on. I want to use this as a bargaining chip….so I am prepared to have him sell me that parts, but I will install them. The only one I am worried about is the winch. Not really "worried" actually, but the last winch I installed was on my ’09 Honda Rancher….and it took me about 5 or 6 !@#$%^ hours! After the mounting bracket for the winch, it was like retrofit all the way…including soldering a splice into a keyed hot lead.

Anyways, I have been told that the new setup is really easy. I guess that I wanted to verify this with some of you guys before I started. I’m not afraid of it, but if it’s going to be complicated, I might just have the dealer do it (I might have them do it anyways, but like I said, I want to use the labor cost as a bargaining chip when I try to beat them up on the price.

Tell me what you know.

Please and thank you in advance! This seems to be a great QUALITY forum for this kind of stuff!

Cheers!
