Finally had time today to go trail riding with my oldest son and we had a blast. Things like this make me remember what life is really about and I am blessed for what I have. I know there are others here who ride with their family and I am sure they understand what it feels like to enjoy time with family and play in the mud. In short I just wanted to say how fun it was and see what experiences others have had.

Hi Polaris ATV Gang,

After over four years of sponsoring the forum, we ran into a situation that was difficult and you may have read about it. People handled things pretty poorly, including me at times.

Some of the comments included the fact that a person will never spend money with our company again. While that’s really hard to hear given that we’ve worked to do the right thing over the past 10 years of business, I also understand people’s views.

But rather than fight that, I thought we could bring some levity into the situation. So instead of "spending a nickel on us", we are making two DENALI snowplows available for free. We cover about 80% of the Polaris ATV’s out there, and you can choose either 50" or 60" DENALI Plow model.

The only ground rules are these:

1. Let’s move on from the past situation. No insults. No defending our company. No referencing to all that crap. If that happens, it’d be to close down the contest to avoid any disintegration.

2. You just have to, in a sentence or two, describe why you’d should get a free plow.

Entries end November 7 at 11:59 PM and (if I can), I’ll then post a poll for you to vote on the winner. If that doesn’t work. we’ll take the entries to our company and let our 15 employees vote.

I saw a contest on Mystik Lubricants Facebook page where you could submit your favorite or best ATV adventure story, along with a picture. Weeks later, I was surprised and pleased when I got a PM from them asking for my contact information due to my story being picked for the Top 10 stories. A few days to a week later, I got a phone call from a Legal firm, informing me I had won the Grand Prize: A brand spanking new Razor xp900 S!!!!!! All the paperwork has subsequently been submitted. Just waiting (quite anxiously!) to hear from them about where and when to take delivery of the machine!! I am still flabbergasted! Good things DO happen to those who wait!!

There was a dealership, that sold all the brands. I think it was Moss Hill, and it was in Mississippi. Am I remembering this wrong? I cannot find it.

Im trying to hook up Heat Demon heated grips to my quad.
i want to hook the power up to the cigg lighter plug..only because i hooked my winch up to the pink wire from the main group of wires..
I cant tell which wire, green or white, is the hot one. Ive tried a VOM and it wont register either way. Do I have a problem there as well?
Also, can i hook the ground to the other wire, or just to the body of the quad..
any help would be greatul…

Well, after shopping around (about 6 different phone calls) I accepted the fact it would cost as much to insure my quad as it would my car. No shit.

I couldn’t do it. Especially with so many of you paying such a small amount every year.

Naturally every time I’m towing it, I would start to ulcerate. Watch the occasional youtube ATV Crash Spectacle and I would ulcerate.

Then I saw this one:

Let me tell ya, when I saw the remains, I got to feelin’ a little queesy. :puke:

That’s it, I’m done ulcerating. I contacted USAA and had them work up a quote for my house, car, and quad. Outstanding. Switched from Allstate and now I’m ulcer days are behind me.

though I never doubted Polaris was number 1 in sales at certain points over the years, it seems Honda is back to number 1 as I can be quoted saying. also Polaris never had a stretch run of "20 straight years" either. since nobody provided links or proof, I will. not looking to start an argument btw

Here’s a few recent jobs, I don’t always take pictures but sometimes I do just because of the WTF factor.

Rancher 350 clutch, owner said it ran good but just rev’s up high. Notice the oil cooked/burnt to drum. While in there replaced both clutches, flushed case and rebuilt top end.
