I need to replace my cigg lighter on my ’13 Foreman…I tried removing the clip
and just couldn’t see enough to get it off…anybody done this? Are there any tricks to it?
I bought an ATV seat and set of fender guard foot rests from a guy earlier this summer. I forgot to get the exact model they fit, but I know they are for a Polaris and are Kimpex brand, just would like to try to figure out the model number so I can see if they will fit my father in law’s Sportsman 600, if not I’ll probably sell them.
I took a few measurements, if someone could measure theirs to help me figure this out that would be awesome!
On the two tabs on top here are some measurements:
Holes are 7.5" center to center
Inside between tabs is 6.5"
Outside between tabs is 8.5"
The top part is approx 22" overall to the bend.
The bottom is approx 21" to the bend but that includes a small bend at the bottom to turn them vertical before angling back.
Also they have a wrinkle finish which should eliminate these from fitting most of the 03 and older wheelers.
Hopefully my measurements make sense, I can take more pictures if needed. Would really like to figure this out.
I am putting a Kfi 2500 on Honda foreman. Per the mounting plate instructions it appears the winch goes on upside down, with the cable feeding out from the top of the winch. In the comments it says it must be installed this way so the cable comes off the bottom of the winch. Am I overthinking this? Or because it is now upside down the top is actually the bottom?

project 95 sportsman 400, cleaned carb, runs with pull start, new battery, new selinoid, new starter, when I turn the key, the 12v20amp breaker by the battery clicks once and nothing, all good ground connections, no lights, I’m thinking maybe a short somewhere, bench tested starter and selinoid both were good, any idea and I hope I’m on the right board, thanks Jim

I have made the jump to a RZR and i love it, but feeling like I’ve betrayed my 570 sportsman! picked up this 2011 Walker Evans Edition 800 on Saturday, listed the 570 and sold it yesterday. Bought it brand new and it never gave me anything but smiles. Cant keep em both, but with this rzr, i can have my 8yr old boy ride shotgun and i get to see his smiles as they are no longer behind me! Still kinda of can’t believe I’ve went and didi it! not saying i won’t be on here anymore, but i went ahead and registered with RZRforums, so i will most likely be around here a bit less. Thanks to all you guys who have helped recommended and argued with me over the last year. A great bunch of guys!
Just purchased a new 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570 SP Hunter edition. Added Polaris winch & plow. The only other items I am looking to purchase are front & rear brush guards. Not a fan of the shiny Polaris painted brush guards so my dealer gave me a Polaris rear guard Pt. #2878046 that fits & looks great. I asked him for Pt. #2878669 & he said it would not fit. What type of modification would I need to make this front brush guard work?
