So we were out riding in the desert. Stopped to take a break, turned the quad off and when I went to get back on I realized I had no power. One of the cables that lead to the battery had broken. I fixed the cable but the battery was dead, so we tow started it and rode the two hours back to camp. Stalled it out twice and had to tow start it both times. Got back home. Fully repaired the cable and put in a new battery. The greed neutral light comes on along with the red over heating light. I hit the start button and I get one tick from the battery then nothing. It won’t turn over. I was thinking the starter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
A little Colorado ride today. Just shortly after this pic I had to retreat due to loads-O-snow. Even the Ripsaws couldn’t handle the snow depth. Wish I had tracks! I was way short of my destination but it sure was beautiful.
What’s the cheapest and best place to buy OEM parts from? Going to be getting parts for a BRGR and have looked at partsfish, Motosport, and partzilla. Partzilla being the cheapest. (Beat partsfish by $9 lol)

Now— just brought this one home from the ranch..
It has been up there for 4-5 yrs and has been a freakin workhorse.
BEST ATV I have ever had.
Only had to change the Chain twice on it.
All fluids and everything always changed out..
Now- this one has a louder ticking-kicking sound
in the CRANKCASE/GEARBOX area.
So , I brought it home, cleaned carb, set chain tensioner, adjusted valves to rules all that stuff out.
But still have the sound….
Any ideas ?? Here is the sound it is making :
Hey guys, I know this isn’t about a Honda or an ATV, but how is 130 for compression on a YZ85? Just did a test on it (I bought the bike used from a guy who took real good care of it) and it runs good too. I checked the owners manual and found nothing about compression. What is considered low compression on these little 85s?
What do you think the most popular size is for an led light bar that fits a full size vehicle and one that fits an off-road vehicle? Your input is very important so i’d appreciate it.
Well, not only was I a virgin ATV owner this year, but I have never plowed snow in my life-just used a snowblower for that. Last night at 11pm, I was out taking care of the 8" of white crap Bella dumped on us. Better than some, of course, far worse than others. To rub salt into the wound, some brainiac in meteorology changed our forecast from 5-8" to 1-3 at around 5pm or so. Looking out, I could tell already that wasn’t going to fly. Hell, we had 1.5" three hours into the storm, and a look at the weather map said this was a 12 hour storm. Anyhow, this was my first time plowing anything. The quad and it’s Denali plow worked extremely well. I can understand the need for a power angle, but for now I need to get more exercise by getting on and off to change blade angles. Overall, I was tickled with performance of both pieces. I came in after doing the 250 foot driveway, approach and even shoveling the finer areas, in just under an hour, something that generally took me about 3 hours with the snowblower. I imagine even the one hour time will drop with practice, but this was a great first attempt.
