In the spirit of Christmas, I am GIVING away a free set of ATV gun mounts that were removed from my TRX350.
I will be cleaning them up nicely, and will even include FREE shipping (lower 48 of the Continental USA) in time for Christmas.
No gimmicks, and the only catch is that you pay it forward by helping out a fellow human being who is in need this season. A cup of coffee, a hot meal, some compassion and kindness.
If you are interested, reply by 12 midnight (Eastern) on 30 November. I will draw by lottery from any who reply and announce the winner on 1 December.
Hello all.
The perpose of this thread is for everyone to post anything that have done to their quad today or in that last few.
This is not ment to take place of build threads and such. Its just to post things like, I changed the fluids today, I got some new tires, I mounted some new lights, or I pulled out a stuck bik and things like that.
I did a search and came up empty so maybe you guys will like this thread.
If the mods do not see this as OK or I posted in the wrong spot please act as you must. If this thread is well received maybe someone could make it a sticky.
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone enjoys the day and for everyone traveling , be safe with your travels. Have a great day.

Has anyone ever taken a mid to late 90’s Sportsman 4×4 and thrown some larger mud tires on it and relocated the radiator along with installing a snorkel? I’d love to try and convert one and make a mud machine but not sure if it’s worth it or if it can even be done. Most of all, I’ve never done this before but I’m willing to try it if it can be something that can be done. Don’t want to spin my wheels if there is no possible way. I’m sure some may ask why, and I say, "Why not". Seems like something that can be fun. I don’t want to do it to my 2012 Sportsman, rather try the older model. Thoughts, pictures, advice, opinions, anything. Thanks.

Hi, I am new to the forum and need some help with a problem. I rode over a small tree with my foreman 400. The tree broke off and impacted my left leg and jammed my machine’s shift lever up with a hard force. Now the shift lever just flops loosly, and doesn’t work. the shifter shaft does turn when moving the shifter but there is nothing there. I would guess I am going to have to access something internal. Has anyone had this problem? Appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks, Bill
Many articles online regarding the science center of it…layman comparison is like comparing carbon fiber to steel. Carbon fiber is stronger and lighter, just like kevlar winch ropes (synthetic rope) are stronger that steel cable….kevlar main draw back, uv rays which is why they all come with a protective sheath for the first couple feet of rope to "hide" the syn. Rope from uv rays as well as the remaining layers of rope on the spool which when proper wound on winch spool will cover it like a protective blanket.
But this article pretty well covers the science of it, many other articles online as well comparing the 2, but just linking this because of the history of it and science behind why it’s superior to cable.

Hi everyone
This is my first thread here so I hope its I the right section. If its not please move it.
Ok so now to my questions.
I have a 93 fourtrax 300 4×4 that I am tinkering with. I want to lift it so I am looking at getting some 300 ex shocks. How much lift should I see from these?
Also I am looking at some new itp mud lite xl tires in a 26-9-12 for the front and a 26-12-12 for the rear. Also some 12×7 in itp delta steel wheels to go with them. Do you think that a stock 300 will pull that setup?
Also how are the 242 front drive shaft kits for these bikes?
The only moods i have done so far is i replaced the carburetor with a oem spec made in USA and I put a custom homemade snorkel on it.
My plan for the bike is a decent mud and trail bike.
