hello, picked up a new to me 500 HO DUSE… and have done a few things to it.. Spring spacers and such…my question is do you use a windshield? If so, why…,if not… Why not? Mine came with one and was just wondering what others do……

Anyone have one of these or seen one out and about? I’ve been looking at options for different means of carry for my small cooler and 2 gallon gas can if I decide to add the polaris lock and ride storage boxes. I would have to modify it to sit a little higher behind my 570 touring, since I wouldn’t want to lose access to my storage compartment. By the looks of it, drilling a couple new holes would allow that.

Ok guys im in need of some help. I broke the bolt that is on the top of the transfer case on my bike its a 96 honda fourtrax 300 4×4. Its the bolt that covers the hole u put the gear oil in. And i dont know what the bolt is called. Therefore i cant look up tye new part. If u know the name of the part please let me know. Thanks.

I think I have now become a "fan boy" owning two Polaris quads.
Well, we don’t own it yet, we will take ownership on December 26th.
She is a beauty, we were only going to test ride two quads, a 2016 450 H.O. it was a very good riding quad, but no power steering.
So, she took a 2015 570 with just power steering for a spin and so did I.
It was much much better steering it than the 450 was.
So, we started negotiating on the 570, came to a deal (just about) when the wife seen a Sunset Red SP sitting a few quads down (oh boy)
So, we both test road it, the Cadillac of the three))))
I know, I have bad mouthed the 570 from day one, I am sorry for that, my mouth spoke before my brain could say shutup.

Hoping for some direction please, no spark at coil. New stator, new coil and new regulator. Started tracing wires and have a G/W wire to coil with juice in it but its supposed to be a ground??? I know on my old Chev negative side of coil gets juice but its not grounded. Think it could be backfeeding?

Hello every one and happy Thanksgiving. I have a 2013 Sportsman 500 and I want to do some winter riding, I live in MN and my question is this, I am thinking of getting some hand and thumb warmers, what brand is the easiest to install? I have never installed anything like this and I don’t want to take it to a shop, don’t have the money.
Any help would be great.

I am hoping somebody can help me.

On the 2012 Polaris Sportsman 550 XP there is and Oval Pipe with a round sealer on it which was apparently allowing dust to be sucked into the lower part of the engines. The only reason I am aware of this is because the mechanic at the dealership told me he silicone this area to stop the dust sucking in. I have asked the dealership since been told about this but it has been denied and I have been given the big brush off.

Does anybody know what this pipe or part of the engine is called? And where on the bike it might be? I am trying to research this particular part of the bike but I really don’t know what I am looking for.

Any help would be appreciated
