87 Honda Big Red 250es

I purchased my 850 in April 2012.I bought extended warranty thank god I did.Brought my quad to the dealer and said fix anything that’s covered under warranty.Here I go.New wheel bearings the 3rd time,upper and lower ball joints the 2nd time,new bushings 2nd time,new rear diff,prop shaft,new front diff cover account of leak,something to do with steering.plus 2 belts.only 6800 k on quad.I don’t ride hard I’m 57 yrs old with a disability do u think I’m getting milked?

I just got a Cree 126 w LED Light Bar , mounted it on antenna brackets , going to run the wires to the battery with a fuse and a heavy duty switch , don’t want to use a relay as that would be something else to get wet ————-I got two questions , 1 ) I have had a couple of people I know that ride a lot at night and in water and they both took the cover off their new lights and siliconed the cover , both said if you don’t do it the light will flood out ????? if you do it , it will kill the 2 year warranty , but for $36.50 I probably wouldn’t send it back any way and they might not cover water damage 2) I need to put a 1/4 38 and inch spacer under the mounting bracket so it will pivot further down and not hit the bar , would you put a solid spacer of steel or plastic ( something solid ) or maybe rubber which maybe absorbs some of the bounce , but then again it my bounce more with rubber

Question, How long did your factory battery last? I have a 2013, I live in MN, always have kept battery on a battery tender, I always check it with a battery tester, so far so good. How much longer until I have to replace it and when I do what is a good replacement battery?

Looking for your input; I am considering buying a GPS for my 570 (without breaking the bank), my phone is not cutting it.

Don’t want to start a war but need input on which machine you would buy and why. I’m having a real difficult time making up my mind.

My biggest concerns are I hear the 570 has a noisy engine/clutch and a clunking sound when engaging but the 850 is $2K more!!

I just got rid of a RZR due to the weird noises and jerking clutch. Want to go back to a quad. Thanks.

Hi. I am going to order a 12" light bar for my 500 x 2 sportsman from amazon. What I need help with is what to order for a wiring kit. 2 or 4 leg? I also want to know what to get for a toggle, as i have room for one on my pod. 20 amp OK? Thanks Mike

The spec sheet for this quad on ATV.COM states that the compression ratio is 11.5:1 …….
Is this a typo error?

The 500cc motor is actually 475cc and is carbureted ….
