So I dinged a rim yesterday. It’s not losing air but I want to make sure this isn’t the start of something worse. The little lip that is bent is paper thin. I could bend it back with some pliers or maybe by using a punch and hammer lightly. It is the factory rim on my ’15 570 touring. I’ve noticed that there are several scrapes on the other rims but this is the only one bent. Seems that these rims are fairly week. I guess in my future tire search a tire with rim guard may be a good idea. But anyways back to the rim at hand. So, nothing to worry about or time to look at rims? Only thing I’ve really looked at are the ITP Delta steel wheels simply for price but I may be willing to look at an alloy rim if weight differences are worth it. Thanks for any replys and best site for rims might not hurt either.
Anyone here use one of these rough cut pull behind atv mowers? What are your thoughts on them, do they perform well for keeping trails maintained, are they durable? Any ones to avoid ? whats a good price for a used one

Cabelas has the Superwinch LT2500 on sale for $109 and the Superwinch Terra 25 for 159. Which one should I put on my 2015 Rancher and what is the difference to warrant the extra $50? I trail ride and use my ATV to get to my deer stands so I would use a winch sparingly. It would be more of a safety measure just in case. i think the last winch I had on my last ATV got used maybe one or twice a year if I got into some soft stuff by accident.
Ok I was given a 1996 honda 300 fourtrax 2×4. I could jump it off and it runs. It smokes bad. I changed the oil and noticed they had the filter in backwards. After looking at the carborator I decided on buying a new one. The gas tank needs to be replaced because of how much rust that is inside. I’ve also noticed some gas leaking out the bottom on the side. The smoking even after a few oil changes is still the same. Also the kickstarter on the side doesn’t catch so I know that is an issue also. I hear a little knocking in the bottom end. So for the experienced folks what would you do? Look for another motor? Redue the top end? Find a new bottom end? I saw an 88′ bottom end would that match up to a 96? I know a million questions. I will stop rambling and hear what people have to say. Thanks in advance.
I am looking for a rack extender for my 2015 570 EPS. I am wanting something that is completely flat for the rear. Is there something out there or am I going to have to cobble one myself.
I have a 2013 Honda 450r and had a power up kit installed at the dealer. Since it now has an open air box and they were specific to tell me to make sure it is properly maintained I wanted to buy a couple extra air filters. Here is the thing … the cage has been changed and the air filter is much bigger now and for whatever reason nobody can tell me which one I need. The installing dealer cannot tell me … HRC has been unable to tell me and Honda itself at this point does not know and are "Investigating". I just though someone on here might know. The dealer has ordered several for me and they have all been the wrong size … either way too small or the cage is too big. This is a real shame as this kit aside for this issue is awesome and provided great results.
Finally got to do some trail riding on my Rancher that I’ve had for a few months. I have mainly used it for working around the property and running up and down the road at deer camp. First, I was very impressed with its capability. I was riding with my wife on her Suzuki 700 and a friend on a Kawi 650. Neither of these machines out classed my little rancher. I followed them through some terrain that I was unsure about but she handled it better than the bigger machines. The DCT worked well and everything just felt good. There were a couple of times I felt like I wanted a few more cc’s but in reality they weren’t needed. The stock tires performed ok but will be replaced soon. One question I did have concerns the transmission. We had a couple of water crossings that weren’t deep but we’re over the floor boards. Are these transmissions sealed pretty good? I don’t ride a lot of mud and water but I do know that occasionally we run into things like this that have to be dealt with.
