So my brand new 900 trail with 9hrs on the clock is back at the dealer with battery problems. The stock Polaris battery won’t hold a charge and I don’t want another crappy Polaris battery installed. So what’s the best battery of choice? I want this next one to last a good few years so spending a few extra bucks is not a problem! I was told a deep cycle marine battery is best. Any advice?

It needs to handle heavy amp draw from the 4500lb winch and light bars.

Hi from NW Oregon. I just got my first ever ATV. I need help to find out what this thing is. I think it is an 1985 but not sure. I can only find 2 numbers on it. One is on the engine EC25PF, and other is on the left side frame 1457385. Called dealer, and they have no clue. Thanks for being here and looking forward to fixing this ATV up.

Having trouble losing power steering when I go through a lot of water or even just washing my bake after riding. Just got back from Hatfield McCoy trails and happen again. Seems like when bike sits for a while and drys out it always come back when i talked to dealer they say there are no issues with Power Steering does many know what might be happening I know it is electronic and don’t think there is and fluids involved. NEED HELP

Hi, can anyone suggest a good set of loading ramps? They need to be 9-10ft long, aluminum preferred. My sportsman 550 says it weighs roughly 800 lbs with a full tank of gas. Add 200lbs for myself & gear so they need to be rated for at least 750lbs per ramp. I did look around on the web and after reading some reviews that raised some concerns about the weight rating I figured it would be safer to ask people on the forum what brands they are using and if they would suggest that brand to other riders. I bought a new truck last year that is completely stock yet with the tailgate down it is 36" to the ground. My 6ft ramps just are not cutting it anymore. I have had a few close calls loading and unloading and figure I better get the longer ramps before I hurt myself and my sportsman. A trailer is not an option. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Has any one sealed their Polaris Lock and Ride box to make it Water/Dust proof?

Just bought a Polaris the wife, while doing normal maintenance I noticed the belt was a little beat up and then the secondary had this pitting like something got in there and did some damage. I ordered a new belt but I’m worried about this secondary, anyone got any advice as to what I should and shouldn’t do with this thing?
