Friends came over yesterday on there bigger bikes and I got a chance to Run with the Big Dogs yesterday and I had a first , I came home bare foot , my favorite Merrel wet shoes first blew out the sole and was flapping around , then I lost both to the suction of the slope while get the wife out a hole , got a little taste of Naked and Afraid , being bare foot in the woods full of snakes for just an hour , made me ride better , as I wasn’t about to take any chances of getting stuck
My friend and his family came over to ride with us yesterday , they have all new bikes , 6 of them , 2014 and 2015’s and all Honda 500’s , except for one which is a Kawasaki Brute Force 650 2015 with SwampLite tires , I am a Honda guy to the core but after riding the 2014 and 2015 Honda 500’s , in both foot shift and the electric shift yesterday compared to riding the Kawasaki Brute Force , there is no comparison ———- the Kaw is a true 4×4 Brute , throws the prettiest equal set of rooster tails with force behind it that I ever seen , it sounds turbo charged when it is hooked up ———– thumbs up to the Brute 650 , and I am disappoint to say I can’t say much for the 2014 or 2015 Honda 500’s , weak wheel spin , too big and it is not easy on the eyes

My son’s 400 started making the click click click sound on the left front outer cv joint today. Time for a new axle. Not bad, the oem made it 1900 miles. I am looking for a replacement axle that won’t kill my wallet. I don’t need the toughest axle out there because it is a 400 and the oem worked fine. What do you guys suggest for a good axle at a fair price?
I just bought a 07 Polaris Sportsman X2 800 about 3-4 weeks ago. Everything has worked fine.
One thing that happened today was I took my Uncle for a ride around our backyard, probably only rode it for about 5 minutes to show the property lines. We just went a normal cruising speed.
I then let him take it for a ride and he had it in low gear. He told me he came back and turn it off, but it was in neutral. I then went back to ride it again and when I put it in high gear and gave it some throttle, it didn’t really move as much. It felt like no matter how much throttle I gave it, it didn’t really move much. It probably only went to about 3k rpms. I tried L gear and back to H, turning it off and back on, but the throttle wasn’t doing much??? A couple of times, I let it idle, and it just died. A couple of times, I heard the exhaust pop.
Alright, so I took my new 15′ 850sp out today for a first real ride at The New Lost Trails in PA. Although I know Polaris don’t have the best ground clearance. Once I sit my 290lbs fat ass on the machine I feel like i am bottoming out on rocks a little too often…. What are my options? Larger tires? Lift Kit? I tried changing Shock settings. not much of a difference.

I’m looking to rebuild a 400ex and I’m torn between stroking it to the 460 or keeping the stroke stock and going to to the 440 big bore but i need some ideas I plan to do barrel races and i want grunt power I’m planing to widen it with a dura blue +4" axle and 3in spacers on rear axle and also widening the front with true flights +3" but forr the power wise i want some ideas i want to go fast for the 400
Hello, I have a 2010 Polaris sportsman 500 HO with a bent up front a arm and a broken outer cv joint. A friend has a 2002 he is parting out, would the a arms be compatible?
I picked up a 450es from my grandpa that wasn’t being used and wasn’t running the greatest. It has been sitting now for like 6 months and when I went to pick it up we couldn’t move it. I can manually shift if it through the gears as well as electronic shift it, but it won’t move. Even I’m nuetral, the tires are locked up on it…should I be looking more at the rear differential or the rear brake drum?
