little guy and a little mud 1st time

was going through some video’s to empty out my phone and I came across this clip from last fall when my 4 year old got to hit a little mud for his first time on his outlaw 50.. He watches video’s of quads in mud constantly and has been out in the mud with dad a few times and soooo wanted to rock the machine back and forth for traction the way the big guys do when they go though mud.. His form leaves a little bit to be desired, but he’s has the right idea.. haha!!.. When he told mom about hitting some mud, you’d think he had just set the world record for mud running.. Kids are priceless!

New problem

Just changed oil and trans fluid. Now the thing has to have the choke on all the time to run. If you take the choke off while warm it will run when you throttle but at idle it stops an will not start unless choke on. Will go WOT but I can hear popping or backfire from rear especially on slow down. Did not do this before oil change. I also installed an inline filter. Could this be the problem> 1996 sportsman 500 carb 600+ miles only. Ideas? thanks

1995 Honda 300 smoke

I changed the oil on my 1995 Honda 300 after the cmrs at rocks bottom. After that. When I crank it after its, been sitting up for a few hours it will smoke until motor warms up then it stops. Also there is now a ticking noise coming from the front of my motor. Any suggestions ?

New quad

I just recently got a 2001 Polaris trailblazer 250. It hasent ran in a couple years but I think when it was parked it had no gas in it. So hopefully no gummy gas. I would like to change all the fluids but don’t know what I need. So what oils should I need and how much?
Thanks,
Brad

Missed th MN. ride but still had fun at home

Due to some things beyond my control, (geerig getting jacked up and bedridden for 6 weeks due to freak rzr accident, softball tourney for daughter all day/into evening yesterday) figured since today had a clear schedule id take the family for a ride this a.m. at our local park before the after lunch motocross crowd overwhelmed the place…which they always do and did today.

They added a new section to the obstacle course segment since theyre starting to host some enduro races now during offseason….fricken daughter scared us both since her eyes lit up like she got dropped off at disney world for the first time with all the new obstacles…most of which r geared for dirt bikes and 4×4 quads with a lil braver rider..but she tried stuff and found the limits of a 2wd trail boss. Some she couldnt tackle, others i played spotter aka lift upper hold downer so she didnt go ass over tea kettle lol. But this obstacle i thought would make a pretty neat family picture opportunity. Wife set her phone timer and sprinted to grab her spot lol. Now just chillaxin, fixin to throw some food on the treager for dinner later and enjoy a cool yet sunny sunday.

New Ride!!

This beast is awesome! Smooth and powerful. We put about 220 miles on it and I have not gone over 50 mph yet. I want to break it in right. The fairing is from a company called VIP Aire. Makes a huge difference. Going to be a fun summer! Have I mentioned this 850 sp touring is awesome? lol
