Thinking about heading to Angel Fire and check out some trails. Has anyone ever rode in this are or at Red River, NM? Any trail recommendations? What did u think of the trails? Any info would be great?

I have been looking to add an winch to my 2014 Polaris Ranger 570 efi, My question is? There is an wide winch plate and standard and no one really specifies which goes to what winch. Is there a sizing chart available or is 3500 pounds standard and 4500 pounds wide?
I am currently looking at a BIG HORN HEAVY DUTY 3500LB ELECTRIC 12V ATV POWER WINCH KIT REMOTE Does anyone know what mounting plate this would take on my 2014 Polaris Ranger 570 efi ?

What engines will work on my 03 foreman 450 es 4×4? I need a complete engine and I’m trying to broaden my options to get it going. I didn’t know if a 500 engine would work or not. I don’t mind and can handle a little welding and fabrication but I don’t want to do a lot of it. What other years will work?

I have a new 2015 Sportsman 570. I bought this machine only because it was a good deal. It replaced my Kawa 400 Bayou. I don’t get why CVT has replaced manuals. There is no engine braking on my base 570 and blipping the throttle when making a two thousand foot descent in the Tetons is a pain in the a**. and unnerving when RPM’s fall below engagement speed. Why do they call it True 4 wheel drive when it is actually 2WD with power to front OR rear but not both. I have read some posts about possible ways to keep the demand drive engaged by electrically energizing the drive but they are all speculative. This brings me to a speculation of my own that I would like some feed back on. If a larger tire was on the front the rear wheel would turn faster. Would the system read this as slip and engage the demand drive. If so and you had full time demand drive, is the drive up to continuous use.

I wonder when we’ll start seeing electric ATVs? There are already a few electric motorcycles that are street legal and weight is a much bigger issue on 2 wheels than on 4. It electric golf carts have been common for years, likely more popular than gas ones.

I like the low maintenance and silent running of electric vehicles. It seems like it would be a popular option if available.

Ok guys we were out riding last night and my buddy with a snorkeled 2015 foreman 500 hit an underwater stump and rolled his bike over. We found a Air box full of muddy water, a little in the bottom end but no water was found on the piston. We didn’t let him start it up but rather drained and washed the air box and brought it home and dropped the oil.

Problem is after we got it home and dropped the oil, checked the cylinder and cleaned the air box the bike refuses to start. We have changed plugs and cleaned out the intake the best we could. Nothing appears out of the ordinary, bike turns over fine. Anyone have any bright ideas?
