I am new here so thanks in advance for any help. I bought I new Polaris 570 last year don’t ride a whole lot but go 2 or 3 times a year. I have never had a full weekend with out issues. Its been going into limp mode now and seems to be over heating. Radiator is clean and full any ideas?:cowboy:

He guys going to look at the above 4wheeler today or tomorrow. 210hrs 1800miles, carb engine.

Anything model specific I need to look for? Owner moving a couple states away and selling for a decent price. Says boots are all good, front plastic rack is cracked but pics look solid otherwise. Has current title in hand.

What do I need to look at? Listen for? Or ask about?

Just looking for good all around acreage machine to pull carts, fetch mail, run me around the woods. Etc…

I was out riding with some friends and everyone except me and one other person had dark green sportsman’s or arctic cats, I was on a bright red 570 in bright clothing and my friend was on a white 570. For some reason whoever drove my or his quad got chewed alive by the bugs and the deer flies and mosquito’s where landing on my quad like crazy but everyone else in the earth tones was perfectly fine. So bugs are attracted to colours with high contrast to the environment after all…your welcome.

Welp here’s my next three questions to help get me into my first machine (looking to buy used btw)…

1) I’m hooked on the camo color scheme but don’t want to let that stop me from getting into a good bike. Say you had something like a red or green 2010 Grizz 550 and wanted to turn it camo. How would you go about that? Buy all the plastic off ebay and sell what comes off yours to recoup some of the cost? Or is there some kind of plastic or material cover you could get? Also, about how much would each route end up costing?

2) I’ve seen the back end of some machines that look like they’re just not set up to handle a hitch ball. Are there some machines that you can’t put a ball on at all, or are there aftermarket conversion kits made for every machine out there?

3) Same question for winches. I’ve seen some Grizz front ends that, either because of the molding or frame, just don’t look like they’d take a winch. Am I right, or will all bikes (or at lease all Grizzlys) be able to accept an aftermarket winch kit?

I have a 2013 sportsman 800 and I want to make it look different then all the other quads out there it’s green I have bumpers, and tires and soon to be hand guards and a light bar in the front bumper. What could I do next?
