Just got my rear seat/trunk, thing is huge! Anyway, any input on whether u put it on n off, meaning, not always with passenger, should leave on for storage, just wondering.

This is how the back yard looks when….

This is how the back yard looks when you bring home a 4 wheeler and havent had time to get it out on the trails yet.

Recently picked up an 04 Sportsman 400. Due to work and other "stuff" I havent had a chance to get it out and ride it yet. With the snow and ice in the back yard, well, I couldnt resist. Headed out to some trails later today.

winch question?

I took my 2012 xp 550 browning edition in for repair as my winch didn’t work and the machine was only a year old and I had never used the winch. they told me they put a new contactor on to repair the problem. as you probably know the browning edition comes with the winch installed. I later found out that the in button is out and out is in. I checked the yellow and blue cables and they looked like they were in the right place. , I am wondering if the tech pulled the cable all out and rewound it the wrong way for some reason. If you stand at the front of my machine the free spool switch is on your right. Should the cable go over the top or underneath of the spool. The big yellow and blue cables and rewinding the winch the wrong way are the only two ways to reverse the winches proper direction aren’t they?? thanks

350l is there a seal behind the counterbalance?

I’m rebuilding a 1993 trail boss, 350l 4×4
I have the motor tore down to the counterbalance, the bearings are smooth and quite, so I do not need to pull the counterbalance, unless there is a seal behind it. The quad had oil in the antifreeze, I’m replacing the seals in the water pump. Just need to know if it has a seal behind it, thanks

Where we ride is very woody and tight trails on purpose, police have a SBS! Anyway, I’ve owned many machines, 2 Hondas n a Yamaha, and am very happy with my choice. Machine is perfect size and excellent performance! Wish I could video for u, I will post some pics of where we ride though!

Tire chains

Hi every one, quick question, how much more traction do you get with tire chains? Went riding last Saturday and even though I have almost new tires bighorn 2.0s I still could not get hardly any traction on the snow and ice.
Dad was all over the place with his stock tires.
Thx in advance for any suggestions.
