I just purchased a 570 Sportsman a week ago but I’m hearing horror stories that Polaris’ are prone to defective belts. Any truth to the rumors?

hi all, wnt to look at a used 2014 550 efi 2 up with eps and was not sure about a couple items.
-i thought that model had the automotive type paint but this one had the matte finish.
-no heated grips, driver and passenger, thought that was standard.

anything esle that would distinguish it from a 500 or 570 other than the decals? seemed kind of beat up for a 2014, lot of scratch/gouge marks and i thought the 550 was the loaded version. any advice appreciated.
What’s a good light helmet?
Really don’t like the idea of wearing a helmet but for safety’s sake I cant justify flying down a dirt road at 45 without wearing one, so I’m wondering what’s a good helmet to get for someone who doesn’t want a helmet on at all. Light weight would be a priority as well as open face.

New to this page…broke both my rear axles on my last ride for the first time….Don’t know what brand to go with or if to get stocks again..I have 500sportsman 2 inch highlighter lift on 28s never had a problem till I put that lift…so what do yall recommend…rhino gorilla turner??? Thanks

Was trying to find out where ATV for sale in Australia are built when I came across a press release announcing a new ATV plant for Alabama – opening in 2016.
Did another quick search, found out the Monterrey, Mexico plant only builds Rangers, all of which are for global export.
Why no power steering on 2016 Scrambler 850?
What do you guys think is the logic behind this? The Can Am 850 is available with it, why would Polaris not offer it? Is it just to entice people to the Scrambler 1000 at the higher price point?
