so i bought the quad used and it has no brakes on it. The set up is there for everyone but the right front tire doesnt even have the parts connected to it. It came with a box of spare parts so i was wondering if anyone can show me what parts the brake would consist of so i can rebuild it. its an automatic if that makes any difference. I also cant seem to find the sparkplug. Any advice is greatly appreciated. it came with a butload of spare parts he bought off a wrecked 425 so i think i have those parts just gotta figure out what they are. If anyone needs any 96 polaris 425 magnum 4×4 parts lmk and i probably have them!
Thanks!
Does anyone with a 02-04 sportsman 600/700 have any ideas on how to make super atv forward high clearance a arms for an 05 work on an 04? After trying to install them I found my axles were to short buy at least an inch. I know I should only buy year specific parts but I was told (not by super atv) that ALL sportsman with a front strut, that the a arm geometry is the same. I would really like to keep the a arms and find a solution, OR find another way to get 28" outlaws to fit. I already have a 2" lift, so ANY suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Really looking hard at that lift and want to know what downfalls come along with it. How bad does it wear out parts? How bad does the ride quality suffer? Just curious before i drop the coin.

I have two EPI WE325113 heavy duty coil springs that I would like to give away for free to a good home. I tried them out for about 6 months on my 850 Touring but was not happy because they made the ride way too harsh (The coils were not designed specifically for the 850 Touring and were much longer than the OEM coils.) http://www.polarisatvforums.com/foru…tml#post444310
I’ve already had a couple jokers PM me, so please note the following before sending a PM:
1) Don’t ask me if they fit your machine! Do you own research!
2) I am giving them away for free but YOU are responsible for any SHIPPING costs!!!
I see that the pads are held in place by two dowels. Can some one please tell me how I can remove these so I can replace my pads. I also have a dumb question. Are the front and rear brakes but filled with fluid thru the square box by my left break lever on my handlebar? I crimped the metal tube that goes down into my rear brake caliper somewhat although not completely crimped I feel like I might need to replace it and just don’t know where to fill it back.
Thank you!
looking at a Polaris 500 ho. It has sat since winter. The hand brake pulls hard and sticks. My question is can you lube it up or will it need a new cable or is it sticking at the splitter? not sure if its an easy fix or not. thanks for any help!!!
I’m sure someone can help me with this, I have a 2000 Magnum 325 that I’ve owned a couple of months now. It obviously had some maintenance issues. The brakes were not spongy but didn’t stop well. The left front rotor was very grooved and the right front was under spec. So I replaced both front rotors and front and rear pads. As soon as I finished up the left front caliper locked up. So I ordered a kit and rebuilt the caliper. Of course at this point I had to bleed the front brakes via the rear caliper. No fluid would come from bleeder screw, it was somehow peened over so I replaced the bleeder. Still no fluid, so I took the hose loose at the rear caliper and pumped the handbrake, nothing. I took the hose loose from the metal line and fluid ran from the metal line to the front. Tried to force air thru the hose, no go. Found a used hose , made sure it wasn’t blocked and installed it. Now I get fluid thru the bleeder both with the bleeder closed and system bled handbrake is spongy and I noticed fluid puddling on the floor on the side opposite the rear caliper. Now if you pump the handbrake fluid is pushing out of the footbrake fluid reservoir, I assume it is somehow bypassing in the rear caliper and being forced back thru the footbrake hose then thru the footbrake master cylinder and out the reservoir??? I’d appreciate any help you can give. I don’t know if I should rebuild the rear caliper, the footbrake master cylinder or both.

I purchased a can of wd-40 silicone spray lubricant for my bushing, linkages, boots….etc, can I use this on my shocks? It says it dries and won’t attract dirt.
