BRP/Yoshi slip-on back to the Drawing Board?

I need some input from you guys that are running the new Yoshi slip-on.
I just took my lightly used Yoshi back for warranty because it didn’t seem to seal tight at the inlet … hear a faint leak with 3′ chunk of hose still after fresh gaskets and clamp.
Backfire at partial decel … sputtering/less responsive cruising at 10-20 mph than the stock car muffler. Over 5000 rpm, seemed fine in this respect.
Recently got a "tinny" sound to it, very noticeable at idle.
Mine was also Harley loud when most guys are saying it’s not too loud at all (subjective of course and no way to compare).
Anyhow, was hoping they’d have a look at it so I’d know if there was an identifiable problem but BRP just warrantied it and advised that I NOT buy another to replace it at this time as "they were having issues" with the units. No details, just "issues" …
I was finally gonna get to try it with the Monster Power Tuner (Dual Auto Tune … just welded the bungs on tonight) to see if mapping was an issue but then just find out BRP says they are refunding my cash instead of replacing the exhaust as mentioned.
Sooo, are you guys seeing any "issues"? I know I saw one falling apart at the cap but other than that haven’t heard any issues really. They haven’t been out long so not many hours on them yet I guess …
Not sure if I should just order another one or find another option. Not really interested in any other brand out there other than the RJWC because it wasn’t too loud and had "lifetime" SS packing and that claim seems to be up in the air. The Yoshi is a beautiful looking exhaust, albeit a little loud for my liking, it did sound great. BRP said they won’t warranty it a second time as I’d been warned. Anyone else heard anything about this? Issues yet?
