While chasing my hard to start problems, it was recommended I clean the carb. I have done this previously when I installed a carb kit about 3 years ago. After cleaning the carb this morning, I went to assemble, only to find the bowl gasket or "o-ring" wouldn’t fit properly as it is now too big. It also appears the o-ring on the idle jet is soft and deteriorating also. I don’t run ethanol either. You guys ever heard of anything like that?

Not sure what brand of kit I used on rebuild, but I know I bought it at Honda shop. but maybe the rubber isnt quite right and stretched if I got some carb cleaner on it. No Chem-tool, just spray carb cleaner.
