Blew my motor #2.. New questions!

Ok, so my like my old thread said everything.. Motor is locked..

Anyway, I started tearing into it.. Here’s where I’m at..

1. I removed clutch cover, primary and secondary are in tact and good.
2. I removed the spark plugs, tired to turn it over, nothing, still locked.
3. I removed valve covers, to see if I broke the timing chain, or dropped a valve, front and rear cylinder chains were in tact and on the sprockets, all valves and springs were accounted for.
4. Oil is still purple looking from my last oil change.
5. I manually tried turning over motor, can only move so far forward or backward.
6. I then hit the start button, and the primary moved a small distance and would stop at the same point.

So here’s my thoughts so far, I’m missing one bolt that holds the starter on, so the loud chatter I heard while riding, I think could be the start bound up in a certain spot, or the stator came apart, or magnet fell and has the fly wheel locked up. I’ll be removing the stator cover tomorrow to check that.

While the plugs were out, felt for the Pistons, both were where they should be. Felt for movement when I manually tried to turn the motor over but it was a minute amount of movement.

Please chime in with thoughts.. Help from the gurus is always great, thanks!
