I’m looking for a little extra clearance, width, traction and durability in tires. But I’m also looking for a smoother ride before investing big $ into new shocks. Lots of rocky trails here in western PA.
For anyone who has replaced the stocks with Bighorns, I’m curious how much difference the Bighorns were over the stock PXT’s as far as ride comfort, etc. Also curious on actual tire height (loaded), PSI you are running, rim size, etc. I’m thinking that 27" will give a smoother ride, just not sure I want to go that big with the tires, add that much weight etc. Would rather not do clutch mods and its already a little tough for the wife to steer as is.
And the 50 inch clearance isn’t an issue for me – actually prefer a little wider to increase stability a bit.
Appreciate any feedback.
