Hello all,
So I’ve been doing mechanic work for years and had a customer earlier this year that I did an engine rebuild on a 250 utility ATV, which included splitting cases and the whole 9 yards.. any way their bill is around $900 (which for all the work that was done was a very reasonable price compared to other estimates) I had originally estimated a couple hundred less but of course there is always going to be something else unexpected when rebuilding an engine. So this was back around May this year… and I still have said ATV and have received no payment or sign of picking it up and I have close to 500 in just parts. So it’s been sitting for almost 6 months. From what I’ve read I can sell it to recoupe the money since they failed to pay for the service they gave me to do. Is there some pointers here from people who have dealt with this before? Also if they have the title(I’m not sure if they do) what would happen with that?
