New to the forum and to Can-Am and just posted this in the intro section. Going to look at this 2014 800r today with 155 hrs & 655 miles. What red flags should I look for and do you think $6700 is a decent price? I know buying used is always risky.
Greetings from NC! Happy to be here as I’m finally making the switch from sport quads to my first 4×4. Going to look at this used 2014 800r today and would love some advice on what "land mines" to look for. I do most my own wrenching so I know the basics, but definitely new to v-twin, cvt, differentials, etc.
This is basically a stock Renegade with 155 hrs and 655 miles. It does have 30 inch silverbacks on 14 inch MSA wheels, with winch bumpers and racks. Is also has an extended warranty.
Is there a checklist of sort on what to look for? He is asking $7000, but I know he’s motivated to sell. What would be considered a "deal"?
Sorry for the long first post and thanks for any input. I look forward to beings a contributing member of the forum!!
Looking to get exhaust, heard my first hmf exhaust today and it sounds good. Does it make a noticeable difference in power? How much is the whole setup gonna cost? How is the installation? Just looking for some recommendations, thanks.

I have a 2011 Rubicon Trail edition and if I forget to shift to neutral when I shut down, I have a hard time to get it into neutral..Sometimes I can rock it and get it there but its a bug###

Just purchased a 400 Sportsman 2 stroke. I cleaned the carb and got it to run. Put about 6miles on it but now i cannot get it to start.
-when i remove plug i see a spark
-pouring a small amount of gas into the spark plug port and reinstalling the spark plug, it will still not start
-i am using a premix gas mixture of 40:1
I am not sure how fuel in the cylinder with a spark will not allow it to turn over?
