Hey I just bought an atv that has been sitting for 3 years outside. It’s a 2006 Polaris sportsman 500efi. I put a new starter on it replaced the spark plug. It started up great for a week. I left it outside for a couple of nights now it barely starts and when it does you rev it up and it will just die. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement fuel pressure regulator for an 07 500. Needs to be 51psi. I see one on Amazon but it is only 40 psi. It is running around 25 psi now after a new fuel pump. If I pinch the hose it will shoot up to 90. Has to be the regulator. Also, has anyone tried an external adjustable reg.?

Searched and didn’t see this elsewhere so hopefully this is the right place, thanks.

Had the dealer run my VIN for my 2006 Sportsman 500 EFI. It came back with a cooling fan TSB (which expired in 2010), part number is 2203193 (see link below for part). From what I read it’s simple to put in but I can’t find instructions.

My question is, does anyone know where this harness is installed so that I can check to see if it’s already been done before I buy the part? Thanks.

I have a 2014 Grizzly 700 and sometimes when i switch it back to 2 wheel drive from 4 wheel drive it takes some time for it to go back to 2 wheel drive.
Any thoughts on this?

Scenario, bike temp light turned on and then limp mode while riding on the street at high speed for extended period of time due to making a wrong turn getting from one trail head to another. 2 mins of sitting with the fan on fixed the issue. Radiator didn’t seem that hot, was free of dirt/mud/debri and no coolant spewed over after turning the engine off. No problem riding the rest of the day. Bike had 250 miles on it.

I want to be able to troubleshoot this going forward if it happens again, is there a way to see what the temps are while riding? Is the temp sensor its reading the oil or the coolant temp?

Things I’m in the process of ordering for peace of mind. Changing from Amsoil 0-40 to 5w-50, Change from coolant to engine ice. Possibly upgrade to radiator with more capacity.
