A couple of photos attached of the homemade Bear Spray holder I installed today.
I used a couple of 4" to 3" PVC reducers, a 3" coupler and a 4" PVC cap. Glued them all together and painted black to match my front storage. My bear spray/velcro holster fits perfectly inside and is now within reach and ready for any "quickdraw" situation!
Hello everyone if your reading this thanks for the time. I have been Struggling with a friends 2004 1/2 sportsman 500. What it is doing has me confused. It will turn the fan on well reved up and as soon as it comes down to an idel it starts to flash a hot light. It didnt start to do this untill i put a a new fan in since the original went bad. Also at the same time i had to install the regulator/cdi update due to it wouldn’t turn on the new fan. Then i notice it wasn’t build any pressure in the cooling system so i tested cap and it was bad so i installed a new one. Still no pressure, so i took water pump cover off and found nothing wrong in there. I also removed the thermostat and boiled it seems to work fine. I also replace the thermistor in the cylinder head thinking it was bad. So all in all I’ve done alot of stuff with no result in the long run. I am open to others ideas and opinions. I have been in the repair business for quite a few years and fix lots of polaris atvs but this one has got me stumped> Thanks in advance for any advice.
Trying to find the right one online at this time of night isin’t easy,, Does anybody know if the CCT510 from EPI will work on my 2015 570 with roller/HD secondary,, Somewhere I read about the tower not being tall enough or something.. OR any other cheaper brands ?
I had to order something from Amazon recently so I went ahead and ordered a HiFlo oil filter for the ETX. I got it in today and boy was I surprised at the size. This thing is tiny. I cross referenced it to the Polaris filter and it’s what I came up with so I assume it is correct. Any one seen a filter like this?
I came across this from a guy who was needing money bad, I ended up getting it for $450. Prior to buying I knew about it not pulling in 5th gear, it smokes, electric start issue, missing a front headlight and rear axle issue. Today I took the seat off since I plan on cleaning the carb, it doesnt want to idle. When I got the seat off I noticed the top of the engine was oily and it also appears to be missing a couple bolts, one of them was also loose.

I also do not know how to get this thing in reverse, I would appreciate any help I can get from the members here. I dont mind spending some money on this but I would like to try to do most stuff myself if possible. I havent really worked on atvs/dirtbikes other than carbs so my experience is limited however I am not afraid to learn or scared to try.
The plastics are complete and not busted up but they are all scuffed up, is there anything I can do to make them look better? The frame is also scuffed up all over, I wouldnt mind painting it(spray paint nothing fancy). Any tips on the plastics and frame/rack would be greatly appreciated as well.

I have a 2001 325 magnum that wont start and the lights wont even come on. It has set up for 2 years. It has a brand new batter/carb/fuel filter/spark plug/oil change/solenoid.

So I left my 2007 Grizzly 450 outside in the rain last night and, when I went to start it this morning, there was no power at all(no display, crank etc.) After fiddling with the wires for a bit, there is now power to the display and the relay clicks when I try to start it- similar result when I jump the relay terminals.
The battery is reading 12.5 volts. However, when I flick the main headlight switch to the on position, the ATV loses all power.
Any solutions?
