Heat Defense

Having heard and read about melting plastics and seats, the first thing I did when we bought out 570 T’s was to remove the side cover and add more reflective heat shielding. This is all that I’ve done, period.
122 hours and 990 miles and zero damage to either plastics or seat.

Put new belt on and it’s like a new ride

Old belt separated and snapped, so bought new factory belt. Took everything apart and scrubbed, polished and reassembled. Wow, I forgot what a rocket it is. Have the gold spring, greasless 18 g weights, coops mod, forgot the shim size, but added another razor thin one while I was in there. Literally forgot how much zip the damn thing has. Think the old belt was fairly dry rotted and polished looking on the edges so I’m sure it wasn’t grabbing like the new one. Back to having to lay off the throttle a little coming out of turns or starting on soft earth.

Fuel problem

Ok so here is the full story I haven’t used my magnum 425 4×4 in about 3 weeks I went to start it this morning with no luck after checking everything including spark and gap I decided to drain the gas just incase it got water in it so I pulled the fuel line off the carb it was dry I though ok maybe it won’t spill any gas unless the motor is forcing the pump to work so I spun it over no gas so I squirted some gas in the air box put the fuel line on and the beast fires right up and ran perfectly even took her for a rip so my question is wtf happened

Rancher 420 Hitch swing swivel SOLVED – No Welding Or Extra Parts

Hey guys, first post here so take it easy on me 🙂

After buying the cheap universal ATV hitch, I like many others realized that the hitch swivels left and right making it pretty useless for turning or reversing. I researched online and found guys welding these and buying the $80 mounts that connect to the frame of the ATV.

Here’s what I figured out, seems so simple surprised I didn’t find it online yet:

Universal Mount:

How the rancher comes from the factory:

Just flip it over! (14mm wrench holding top bolts, 14mm socket bottom)

Boom! No Weld, No $80 part:

Hope this saves someone with a Honda Factory mount some cash…

Happy Riding! :yeahbaby01:

Hello from Michigan

Hello all, I’m a proud new owner of a Renegade 850xxc. I originally had an ’08 Yamaha Grizzly 700 that never let me down in 8700 miles. I’m hoping to get at least that with my new machine! I transitioned over due to the fact that Yamaha’s new Grizzlies went wider than before and no big power differences between the old 700 and new. Can’t wait to let this new machine rip!! Thanks!!!—Tim

Hard to start, slow turning over

Cranked it, moved it out of the shop, 10 minutes later it would not turn over. When it did crank it was slow to turn over. I bought a new battery. Stock was 14ah battery, I installed a 21ah battery. The motor still turns over slow. And sometimes will not turn over at all.
I’m at work for a couple weeks, when I get home I’m checking connections, battery frame ground, starter, starter contactor. I figured I might have a loose connection somewhere.
Has anyone else had this issue?
