Turned The Crankshaft The Wrong Way

I am doing a valve adjustment on my 14′ TRX250X and I misread in the service manual that I had to turn the crankshaft counterclockwise. I turned it clockwise probably 2 full turns (and for some reason the T mark on the flywheel never lines up perfectly with the index mark). Is there any damage that can come from this? Also, why does the T mark not line up just right? It is about an inch or two away from the index mark.

What oil?!?

I ride a lot of deep water and stuff like that so I would like to change my oil more… I want to buy like a 1 bucket of oil or some thing, but I don’t know if regular differential oil will work instead of the Polaris brand oil or if it had to be certain weight?? Was wondering the same thing for my engine oil, and my transmission please help

New Can-Am Owner

My wife and I picked up a pair of 2016 Outlander L DPS 570’s this past weekend. We have put a few miles on them, and so far we’re really happy with them! The ride is great, and they seem to have plenty of power for our needs.

I ordered a Superwinch Terra 35 for mine, already, and I’m looking forward to getting it rigged up for the upcoming hunting season with some storage bags and either a Gun Boot or Rhino Grip-type mounts.

I look forward to perusing the forums to see what others have done with their machines.

2007 scrambler 500 pops out of gear FIX?

I have a 2007 scrambler 500. had noises in the Tranny, pulled it to find the Needle Bearings where Scattered bottom of the input shaft high/reverse. also the silent chain stretched. Replaced both. Cleaned and Inspected every gear, tooth and chain inside All Looked very Good. Put All back together back in the Machine. and it now Pops out of Forward. Reverse is fine? pops out going slow or hard within 100 FT. So is it A Worn Shift Shaft or Shift Fork. or something I didn`t do Right?
