I have the BRP Trunk on the back of our 570 Max. We usually carry a small cooler on the front rack for drinks etc. when on all day rides. I’d like to be able to carry about 3 gallons of extra fuel on all day rides this summer. What are my options and your experience / set up ? Preferably up front on the rack. Pics would be awesome !

Who do you guys trust other than authentic Yamaha parts? What about Fram filters, anyone running those? Just wanting an alternative to the Yamaha dealers $13 oil filter. Also, what are you guys paying for spark plugs, dealer just got $6.69 from me today. Weird, I picked up a plug for my old Honda before hunting season for $3.50, from a different dealer.

I was just looking at the maintenance schedule on our outlander 570’s and saw that I should have cleaned the fuel vent breather filter. Question is, where is it?

Finally done. Maiden voyage today mainly to break in axles and make sure nothing was binding. Few bugs to work out mainly with the steering. Got some beefier tie rods being made and swapping the 3K winch for a 4500. 22.5" clearance.

Well, last time I rode I was having issues with my winch making the low battery light come one so I went and got a new battery and put it in thinking that it was the issue. Today, same issue again and again. After reading many posts people say to run it at 4k while winching due to the computer thinking its drawing too much power and cannot charge at low rpms. While running high rpms it would still do it today. I have read several posts and some people suggested hot wiring the in-out switch direct to the battery? How would I go about doing this, since the wire for the key on power is very small. Currently I have it wired to 12v under the key. Any other suggestions would be appreciated, I’d just rather not have the light come on all the time since I tend to get stuck a lot…
So I’d like to purchase a super atv brake disk conversion for the 300fw. Do they give a discount to forum members? Are they good to deal with? What about replacement pads? I also live in Canada so I’m trying to find a cheaper way to ship here.
