Hello all. New to this forum and new Can am owner. 2016 Outlander 570 L DPS. I am coming from a Honda. I hope the outy is a dependable as the Honda was!
Hey guys, been lurking for quite some time and have been doing a lot of reading/research and have decided to finally jump in. I’ve had a couple quads but they were all older and were more sport quads than anything. I’m now looking for something to take into the fields/woods as a hunting rig and do some small chores around the house (haul wood, pull trailers, etc). With that said, I’ve found three different bikes to choose between, this is where I need the advice.
1&2: very similar, 2007 and 2008 660 Grizzlies. 2700 and 3100 miles respectively both well taken care of and both very clean for their age. Cost $3600ish
3: this is a rarity, 2011 EPS SE 700 Grizzly with only 17 miles. Original owner got reckless and rolled it, broke some bones, got scared of it and never rode it again. He took it to the shop recently for an oil change/tune up since it hadn’t run in so long and is now selling it. The plastic has rash but the frame is straight. Cost $5500ish
Option 1/2 I’m just really asking if this is the going price? I guess what I’m really asking is for an extra 2k would you guys get a basically new 700 (minus the cosmetic rash) instead of a 660 with 3000ish miles?
Hey guys and gals I am new to this forum and was wondering if you could help.. I’m almost in the process of getting a 16 xmr renegade!! But I am new to the Atv world as I been riding sport bikes my whole life… Question is is anything I need to no about this Bike before I buy it.. Meaning are there things I need to buy or is it a kind of thing were you leave stock.. I wish i knew more about them so I don’t have to ask everyone on here 100 times… Any advice would be much appreciated thanks!!!!
I purchased a 2003 Honda Rincon from a couple that used it on there farm. They told me that it jumped timing. When I took it apart I seen that the timing chain guide arm had broke and the bike did jump timing. I replaced the guide rail, timing chain, oil pump chain, and seal on oil pump. Bike starts up and runs fine. The issue I am having is when I have it in Auto and throttle down on it, it boggs down. It doesn’t shift from first to second unless I ease of of the throttle, and same thing for third gear. It also takes a sec for it to shift into second. I have to get up to about 18mph before it shifts out of first into second. ESP works fine as far as shifting, but when I throttle down in ESP mode I cant get over 40mph? Its like the Rincon is bogging down when I give it a good bit of throttle. It should go over 40mph correct? I have a Rubicon and never had an issue like this. I am new to Rincons. Has anyone else had this problem with there Rincon?

So my 97 425 magnum laundry list of problems got longer than my patience, so I just pick up a brand new 2016 450 HO. FOR $1,600.00 LESS THAN I PAID FOR MY 1997 425 MAG IN 1997!!
Anyway what do I need to know about this new bike that I might not otherwise realize. Things to avoid, mods that are a must, tips advice etc etc etc
My 87 trx350d just died today while riding. We pushed it off and it seemed like it was dying and just had no power. Then we jumped it with the truck and it ran great for a couple of minutes then did the same thing. When its connected to the jumper cables it sounds and revs perfect and runs strong for a few minutes.
I’ve heard that these don’t run good even if you jump then when the battery is shot. Any truth to that?
