My starter went out on my Rancher 420 so I ordered a new starter and solenoid. Hooked then both up, turned the key and nothing came up on the display. I figured it may have been the battery or connections so I charged the battery and mad sure the connections were good. Still nothing. No lights, no power to anything. I checked all the fuses and they are good. Connections at under the display seem to be good as well. Any other insight to what might be the cause of this?? Thanks in advance

Hello all! Just bought my first Polaris ATV to use around my property and for plowing. Picked up what looked like a good deal, 2013 850 le with 74 hours 440 miles with a winch, plow, new tires, handguards and a-arm guards in good condition. Checked out fine when I test drove, but after it sat home unused for two days when I went to use it it stumbled when warming up and pulled a ce code for throttle stuck open. Looked into it and adjusted the throttle cable and next day it was fine…..but now this morning it pulled the code again? WTF? Is there a trick to adjusting the cable or do I possibly have a tps problem? I read about just putting something in the switch to defeat the ets, but I’d at least like to try to fix the problem before I rig it. Any help is greatly appreciated and suggestions where to ride in nj are welcome as well!!!

Hi all, just joined the forum after buying my first quad today! Happens to be a 1990 Honda Fourtrax 300 4×4. Heard alot of good things about them. It needs some TLC but runs great with lots of power. Needs brakes, break cylinder, front axel boot is torn. Front ball joint is bent. Front cargo bar is bent and plastic is cracked. Looks like parts are fairly cheap for this quad. Previous owner ran it without a battery. I have read that this will ruin it?

Has anyone.woth a 2017 xp sportsman installed there own winch? If so did it have the wiring up by the handle bar to plug in the winch switch? Will the winch mount from 2015 xp sportsman fit on the 2017?

Anyone having problems with there 2016 grizzly stalling and not wanting to start ? Took my bike to the dealer before my warranty was up got a 200$ bill and told me they couldn’t find a problem! Also 3 seperate occasions i trailered my bike got to my destination and it wouldn’t start would let it sit overnight then it would start, and now randomly stalls on me when i leave it idle quit often. Kinda sad when your worried about your brand new bike starting or not

Hey all. My 2012 Renegade 1000 has blown the middle accessories fuse under the seat twice now. Which gives me no power to the 4×4 actuator, and no headlights.. Possibly no fan but I haven’t rode it enough to get the fan to come on. Does anyone know if there is a COMMON problem with the wiring somewhere shorting to ground to pop the fuses? Before I start chasing wires throughout the whole bike I’m just wondering…

EDIT: As I posted this the thought of the fan shorting out could possibly be the reason for the fuse blowing.. Anyone have problems with a bad fan?
