I have a 2014 sportsman 90,question is they list a part number0452996-067 for a heavy shock spring spring.is this a upgrade from the factory.

I haven’t added pictures from a ride in a while but remembered to snap a few photos on this one.

We (wgc, RockTaco & RedRocket) were able to get out on a great sunny day for a snow ride. Snow wasn’t too deep which meant we didn’t get stuck anywhere so no winching. Overall, 42 miles, light winds if at all, no clouds and temps probably in the mid-30s. Most importantly, we didn’t see anyone else on trail until the end of our ride and only two Can Am quad riders.

A great ride and time yesterday.

When driving for about 15 minutes or so I start to smell coolant and noticed The overflow bottle is completely filled up and leaking out the vent hole on the top. When it cools down the level in the bottle never drops back down.

This is what I have done so far
Flushed out cooling system
Replaced radiator cap
Replace thermostat
Cleaned Radiator

I can hear the fan running when the key is turnd on and engine is off when the engine is hot.

The only thing I can think of is air is getting in somewhere. When I have the time i’m going to fill the cylinder up with air and see if it’s leaking into the cooling system.

Managed to get out around the farm today on my ATV. Whilst sat there ticking over and waiting for it to warm up I noticed a very slight ticking noise, If I just touch the throttle slightly the ticking disappears.
Is this possibly cam chain tension? If yes, how do I cure it before it gets worse?

I’ve had my Grizzly 700 for a 5 or 6 years now with very little use the past few years due to too many family commitments in the summer. Looking to re-invigorate my love for the sport.

Found a new Motovan Quadrex B Series rear cargo box & seat locally. Has anyone mounted these on a 2009 Grizzly 700? If so haw do you like it?

Hello all. Bad band of storms coming through these last few days and continuing through the next 2 for some people. Major wind and flooding everywhere, I believe it has claimed 9 lives already down in Georgia. Please everyone be safe and careful, remember you never know how truly deep that water is, you can’t see if the ground washed out underneath. Rushing water is a hard force to mess with.

that being said, if anyone has some cool pictures/videos/stories let see them! I’m unfortunately working all night, the band is hitting us tonight, I’ll see if I come across anything good and or have the time to snap some pictures

Hi All. Just picked up a ’96 Polaris Magnum 425 4×4 I am new to the world of ATV’s and do not know much about this one other than it is working. I am trying to find a owners manual for it so I can learn all the in’s and out’s. I have 4 acres that I will be using this machine to help clear out from being overgrown with brush and saplings and to help drag out bigger trees after they are cut. SO far the atv starts and runs as expected. I just read that these might have a pull start as well so I will need to look for that when I get back home. Just purchased a used 2016 850SP and have a couple of questions. First off, the white metal and aluminum parts are quite oxidized, is there any product that I can spray on that will remove the oxidation but not harm the steel, rubber and plastics? Also, are there any maintenance issues or things I should be aware of?

I have greased it and will be changing all of the fluids today. Is the Polaris grease any good or is there something better out there?

Went out ice fishing over the weekend. Everything was fine, the beast was ripping through the trails and flying across the ice, great riding Thursday & Friday. Then late friday I noticed my exhaust was starting to get louder. Now I only had 250 miles on her, so I figured maybe she was just starting to break in. Still had all of power it was just starting to get loud as hell, by the end of the day I had a screaming headache. Exhaust was hot all day but never cherry red or melting plastic. Just steaming from the snow.

Started it up Saturday morning to head out onto the ice and noticed the gauge pod wasn’t showing the gears (H,L,N,R,P) just blank(–). But fired it up anyways and still loud as hell. Warmed up and went out, but now I reached the rev limited quick. I mean I hit it doing like 30MPH at anything over half throttle, if I was lucky. Which obviously that isn’t right.

What did I do to her??
The exhaust I was thinking is the gasket, but then starting up the next day… Clueless. No error codes present.

Its still under warranty, I purchased it in Sept. So going to call the dealership here shortly, Its already in the back of my truck ready for drop off. 300 miles on her now and this already…

Just wondering if anyone has any insight on a issue like this. I’ve been reading the forums for awhile now and seen exhaust issues, but nothing on this. Wondering what I’m in for…

is there any way you can replace the entire counterbalence shaft while the engine is still in the quad. I know it is possible to replace the seals but how can you remove and put the whole new thing in?
