Hello from Louisiana

Just joined the Polaris forum. I have been getting information from all of you and decided to help out when I can. I am from a four Polaris family (1998 Sportsman 500), (2010 Sportsman 550XP), (2011 Sportsman 850XP EPS) and a (2014RZR 800). All of this equipment is stock and ride mostly on trails in the Kisatchie Forest trails. Glad to be a part of this group.

Tire size for 650xt

I’m sure it gets asked alot on here but looking for alittle help with 650xt . The wheels I want to get with tires I want only come in 28" . Will the 28" work for clearing fenders . 26" are stock and was hoping for not much power loss . Not sure if it’s worth it or not .

2002 Polaris Trail Boss 250

I have a 2002 Polaris Trail Boss 2WD that has been sitting up broken for many years. I bought it in this condition so I have never ridden it. I now have a man doing the needed repairs on it. I should have it back in a couple of weeks.

I am looking for an owners manual among other things for it. I find manuals for other models, Trail Blazer 250, etc., but not the Trail Boss. Would the manual be the same as that of a Trail Blazer? What is the difference between the two AtV models?

Are parts interchangeable with another model ATV? If so, which model?

Any info that anyone can provide on my Trail Boss would be greatly appreciated. It seems I can find very little if any info on this particular year and model ATV.

I look forward to your responses

Thank you!

need longer wheel studs

I recently bought some new ATV wheels for my 2006 Sportsman X2. The wheels were off a 2011 Ranger. The problem is that the wheel studs (lug bolts(?)) are too short and the lug nuts wont bite enough of the thread.

Where can I purchase longer wheel studs and how do I determine what the specs are for my ATV?

New Can Am Owner

Hey guys my name is Chris, just wanted to introduce myself as I just signed up for the forum. I am currently living in Alberta, Canada. I have ridden Polaris for many years but i wanted to see what all the hype was about in these Can Am’s. Picked my self up a new 2015 Outlander 1000XT. Unfortunately, I think mine was made on a Monday or Friday lol, slowly working the bugs out thanks to this forum.
