400ex jetting HELP

I have a 2000 400ex. has a hot cam and a wiseco 10:1 piston. k&n air filter and a bigger head pipe with a lrd exhaust. when ran for a little bit it starts to bog its self out and wont want to run. it is running a little rich. mixture screw at 2 1/2 turns out. i think the problem is in the carburetor. if it is i need to know what jets to get for it. i don’t know what size is in there right now but it needs to be changed. I’m at about 900-1000 ft elevation. Any advice will help. THANKS

Please help 08 Honda rancher es 420

Edit: yes I have searched high and low for an answer…

Thanks for reading, my 08 rancher 420 es is having issues where it won’t shift, I replaced the angle sensor and still have the issue I’m getting codes 22 and 23 but the angle sensor is new. My battery is fully charged as well. I am able to manually shift it without any issues whatsoever. Any ideas? https://vimeo.com/187210261

Even when it’s in neutral manually it doesnt indicate that it is in neutral on the dash.

1995 Fourtrax 300 4×4 Severe Vibration

I am new to the forum so thanks for having me……..making my 1st post.

I bought my ATV when it was new and its been bullet proof like the Honda name lives up to. However lately I have been having an issue when a severe vibration when getting up some speed in 3rd or 4th gear. The front end shakes badly even seeing the vibration in the fenders . Its hard to explain but its like a rhythmic vibration getting worse and letting off again and repeating until the speed is reduced back down to slow again. I had an issue once somewhat similar to this but it was more of a ‘grabbing’ feeling and it ended up being a seized bearing on the rear axle so I replaced it again but no luck. I then read on the forum that it could be either the change or centrifugal clutch but I removed them and they are still within specification. Now the universal joint in the rear drive shaft looks OK to me. Could it perhaps be something in the front differential or drive shaft(s). Would like to fix it before it breaks but at the same time a little intimidated and don’t want to make unnecessary work and part purchases.

Thanks for taking the time.

COB LED Halo Light help

Hi everyone. Has anybody installed COB LED angel eyes/halo rings with the plastic difuser cover on a 2017 Outlander 1000? if so what size did you use for the front four lights, rear two lights, and two rear reflectors? Are they holding up well. I did some measuring on my lights and found some that looked like they might fit but they only gave the dimensions for the light without the cover. I don’t want to reorder another size if possible. I have seen some complete kits with no dimensions just model specific and kind of pricey for what they are. Thanks Tom.

New ID

Morning all, I have been a member for a couple of years. Not very active because the ATV I am working on belongs to a friend and I try to keep it going for him because he lets me hunt on his property.

My wireless ISP stopped providing E-mail service without any kind of notice to me. I could not remember my password because I had not been on here for a while, so I had to go to a gmail account and establish a new log-in ID and password.

Anyway, you guys are a big help when I run into something I don’t understand. The machine I work on is a 1999 Sportsman 500 that the original owner beat on pretty hard. Now it is just used to get back and forth to the hunting area, slow speed trail with no mud or deep water, so it sees very light duty.

Thanks,

Wayne

Light Bar Courtesy

Been happening more and more…

Donkey with a 2-3-4 foot light bar on the roof of their UTV..Blinding all rides coming the opposite direction.

In broad daylight these dicks never and I mean never dim them.
At a meeting last Monday night our Town Chairman complained about them being on the road/routes blinding motorists .

What to do?
Retina burning Green laser?
2 mil candlewatt shining light?
Serve all over the trail?
Snake Charmer? (just kidding with this one)
