I have a 2015 Outlander L 500. I was thinking about making some upgrades to it like tires and a few other items. One thing I was curious about but can not seem to find anything online about, is dual exhaust. I think it would be a really neat upgrade. I have seen it on other higher end Outlanders but not on mine specially. Does any one know of any place that sells kits for my Outty or even if this would be a possibility for me with this particular outty. Thank you for any help.

Hi all, new here in hopes of some pointers. I have a history building seadoo’s but this is my first atv, was my father and laws old unit he’s let us use now that we purchased a cottage.
I believe it to be a 1994 sportsman 400
It will start no troubles at all, idles good, takes off like a bat out of hell generally and is just fine on flat land 99.9% of the time. Going up a incline over 1/2 throttle about 60% of the time she’ll fall right on her face. If I peddle the throttle a bit back and forth I generally make it up the hill, not to often will it die right out. It’s not slipping, it is a engine bog.

I’ve just started tinkering on it, I was told before it was fowling plugs, so they cleaned the carb and installed a new needle and seat, aswell could not find a new float so put another used one it. The fuel shut off wasn’t functioning so a new one and filter was installed. I’m told after this is when the bog started.

I have tried running it with no gas cap – same trouble, I hooked up a jerry can right to carb by-passing filter & shut off, and although it did seem to be better on the short test run, I did get it to bog again although not as bad

Side note, I don’t believe the kill switch on the handle bars function, we’ve always just turned the key. The odd time on occasion the key won’t shut off when you turn the key

I’m going to start ripping into it next time I head to the cottage, was hoping for some advice and tips from people who know the machines

I have an issue with sportsman 90cc, 2003. It only runs with good power if the choke is on a little bit. , I’ve cleaned the carb to what I think is good. just got the bike and the carburetor was loaded with filth from fuel sitting in it. i’m new to 2 stroke engines so any help would be appreciated. THe machine does not have an electronic idle enricher. Anyone know how many turns the idle enricher screw should be set at?

Can anyone help me out with a Pcv tune for an 860 big bore. Just looking for a good base line.

OK I was just wondering HOW many people have bought a Brand new ATV, and HAD to take it back to the dealer
can also include motorcycles here too

as I personally have never bought a new bike/atv and had to return to the dealer for an issue with one

I am NOT talking about returning for basic service, like an oil change or other basic PM

I am asking about if you got the machine and it was a lemon, or wasn’t set up correctly, or due to a recall!

as I don’t always buy locally, and gather many others don’t to get a better deal

so would think many readers here might enjoy hearing of how often a BAD machine gets sold, either from OEM or poor dealer set up?

SO, have you HAD to return your NEW machine for a BAD set up, or recall?? like issue?

I see there are aftermarket brake shoes for my TRX300FW, but are they as good as, better, or worse than OEM?

I know on my Valkyries, OEM is the way to go for pads.

I know this may be hard to believe, but up until a couple of days ago I NEVER heard of Plasti Dip.

I heard many negative things about painting plastics but I have watched several videos on YouTube (yep, now I am an expert :happy:).

Anyways, I thought I would give it a try and do something a little more complicated like Carbon Fiber look a like. Below are two pictures of what I finished up yesterday.

It really wasn’t that difficult (finding the "matting" was the most difficult part)….other than cleaning it up and then using some Isopropyl alcohol, all I did was follow the instructions on the YouTube video.

2015 Honda Rancher ES 420

At a quarter throttle it bogs down and starts cutting out, and even shuts off when it’s cold. Acting like it’s not getting enough fuel. But will run good at full throttle. Before you comment read what I have replaced.

REPLACED
Whole fuel pump
Injector
Spark plug
3 main relays
Fuses
Fresh gas
New air filter
IAC Valve is clean
Valves have been adjusted
Battery is good
Vent lines are good

Where I live we ride the back road to our trails. These roads hardly ever see cars. My question is do you think riding my 570 for 10 miles or so at roughly 35-45 mph is bad for it.
