ATV runs rich, won’t idle, but will run hard. Throttle body is black like carbon/soot.
I’m going to replace spark plugs…anything else to check for or replace?
Also, is there a cheaper place to buy equivalent of Polaris Oil, spark plugs etc?

But I definitely won’t take short cuts if it will damage my machine!!

Hi all; just bought a one owner 2006 Sp Edition Griz; in pretty good shape but I should have looked at it more closely, all the brakes were worn through, right front CV joint is worn out, smells like gas, petcock bad, took part of it apart tried to rebuild the carburetor now I can’t get it to run worth a crap. It starts in idles fine, but as soon as you give it gas it sputters and dies. I’ve ordered some new parts to try to get the carburetor working better and while everything is off I might as well adjust the valves. It had been sitting for a while, there was about a half quart of gas in the oil.
i’ve read a lot of posts about people having the same problems with the carburetor and trying to get theirs it to run after a rebuild kit! I will post back what I find out on mine, any ideas that others have please pass it on, thank you
I broke the speedometer harness on my scrambler when I rolled it. The plastic on the harness was broken and the pins inside. Without buying the wiring harness for everything is there a way to splice in a new one or repair the current one? Any help would be appreciated
Hello, i am new to this forum and am wondering if i can put 420 shocks on my 300 4×4. It has a big red rear end and other than that it is stock suspension and drive train.
Hey guys I have a Sportsman 500 that has a electric problem I belive. So this is what it is doing I have resently replaced the start/stop/lights handlebar switch, when conected to the motherboard you can start the atv and shut it of, all the lights work. But the four wheeler starts to what seems like is miss fire. when disconnected I can start the atv with the pull start and it will run just fine. If anyone knows maybe some sort of diagnosis I can run or what I can do to find the malfunction I would greatly appreciate it.
Think I let the 350 sit too long, old gas maybe clogged up carb. Took it off, cleaned it out with carb cleaner and seafoam, jets, everything..and blew it out with compressed air. After reassembly, it will not idle unless the choke is on. Any throttle movement at all kills it. Green staining in bowl and on jets…any ideas or suggestions are welcome..thanks!
I just bough a used 1998 300 fourtrax and it’s leaking oil through a missing bolt in the starter cover. Does anyone know what size and length these bolts are? Or a link where to buy them.
