Hey from way up north

Throttle hesitation

Hey guys I got a 03 predator. ..I recently rebuilt it …high compression piston new jug and valves all was well upon fire up …then starter clutch went .. (common on these )…replaced that …but when I give it quick shots of throttle it hesitates …I have cleaned the carb many times …I have moved the needle up and down and been up and down on main jets …air screw to doesn’t change this either …and ideas? …I am a good mechanic …but this one is pissing me off…only because if you go smoothly threw the rpms there isn’t a issue …just quick shots …i also have replaced the intake manifold cause old one was cracked …if anyone has had this issue and solved it please enlighten me thanks

2002 trans will not engage

2002 660 Grizzly. Removed clutch, cleaned, re greased and installed with new belt. Test ride no problems. Rode onto trailer for transport, and placed shifter into park. Still no problems. Arrived at trails, shifter moves through all gears with the associated dash lights working, however, will not engage, as if in neutral. Shifter moved through all the gears many, many times as well as rocking it back and forth in gears, holding brakes, etc. All the basic stuff. Before I disassemble again any ideas?

85 TRX 125 kingpin bushings

So I bought my nephew an 85 TRX 125 for his bday. I was panicked because his bday was getting close and I couldn’t find one in decent shape for a decent price so when I came across what I thought was a good deal I jumped on it. Short version I bought it from a guy who flips stuff, he put a bunch of band-aids on that I missed and I payed too much for a quad that needs work. Good news is physically it’s in decent shape.

The front end is loose, I thought it was wheels bearings. I replaced one side which did need it but I have found that the kingpin bushings are shot too. I can find new bushings for 87-88 125’s but not 85-86. Any idea where I can get them?

Also 2 more problems I have is the lights (all of them including reverse and neutral) don’t come on. I have a brand new battery.

The starter seems to bind up. It starts up fine and spins the motor freely but after a bit it slows down and seems to be binding. Should I just have it rebuilt?
Thanks in advance.

99 Grizz, Cube LED lights question

Hey guys, I have a 99 grizzly I use mainly for hunting. The stock lights are terrible, and was curious if anyone had replaced the headlights with cube lights? I’ve seen it done on the newer models where they cut the oem light assembly to fit the cube in it, but other than cosmetic appeal, is there any upside to doing it that way? Any help would be appreciated.

01 450es Foreman won’t fire

Parked last year running. Now won’t fire. Spark good, fuses good, fuel to carb good, primer does pump into carb. Took carb off, used carb cleaner, hope got jets clean. When cranked, smells like old gas. Owned for years, never had this happen, could old/bad gas stop from firing?
Thanks
