Hey everyone, I need some help. 2003 trailblazer. I picked it up broken, and put a battery in it, dashboard came on with ignition key, try to turn it over, and nothing happened. When you let go of the key, the dashboard no longer lights up even after cycling the key off and back on. I replaced the sealed circuit, starter solenoid, and ignition switch. The dashboard will not light up unless you disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Every once In awhile after I’ve disconnected and reconnected the battery, it will actually crank the motor when you cycle the key, but once you let off the key, the dashboard won’t light up and it wont crank. Once you cycle the key and let off of the key, both sides of the solenoid next to the battery have voltage, which isn’t supposed to happen. Once you disconnect the battery, and reconnect it..there’s only voltage on one side of the solenoid. Someone help figure out what’s going on so I can get it cranking correctly and move forward with this project!

cold starting issues
Hey Guys, have a 2000 Magnum 325 4×4. Bought it about 6 years ago, not running. Local Polaris dealer serviced it and since then has been running just fine. Its only used weekends during the summer and weekends during hunting season her in NY. Last winter it started giving me problems starting in cold weather. When the summer rolled around and it didn’t have any issues I completely forgot about it. Now that cold weather is here Im having starting issues. Changed out the plug (NGK) but didn’t help much. Usually requires a shot of starting fluid to get going. Ive been religious about using stabil or startron during non use periods. A month ago I drained all the gas and refilled with fresh hi-test. Dumped in some carb cleaner also. As of yesterday still giving me issues. Too cold to work on now and I don’t have a garage so Im guessing back to the dealership unless any other suggestions for an easy fix I might have missed??

660 small needle spring installed under e clip
Bought this quad a month ago, wanted to know if it had been re-jeted. Yep, 6 grooves on needle, 155 main. Strangely enough PO installed the small spring here. From what I gather between Dynojet instructions and my manual it goes above E clip. Heading to Windrock now to check it out. Hoping this cures incredibly weak mid range. Also will be ordering a 150 from Dynojet since I’m running a stock pipe with nozzle and uni. If there’s anything else I should do when I go back in please chime in. Thanks

Heh guys 1st post. I’m getting ready to buy a new 16 850 base model in White lightning. The dealer has it priced at $6999. I’ve had several quads in the past with a 05 800 hunter edition being the last. I always felt it had plenty of power almost more than I ever needed for trail riding. My question is this.
1. Would a 570 better suit my needs?
2. I want white so it have to be a used one if going 570.
3. What do you think of the price I’m being offered for the 850?

2005 Traxter – Diagnostic jumper
Yo all. Can’t find the answer. I have a 2005 Traxter XL. Looking for a diagnostic jumper. Have a 2002 manual and it shows the jumper as part # 529035605.
Anybody know if the same jumper is used through the various years and models????
Starter motor for 2010 Outlnder 800 XT
My Outty 2010 XT will not start(most times) unless i tap the starter motor.
I figure i need a new starter motor. $558CDN here in Ottawa.
The parts lists has a V1 and V2. how can i tell which version I need?
Has anyone used an after market unit. I can get one for approx $100 cdn delivered.
And lastly how difficult are they to replace?

I just joined the forum but have owned yamahas all my life I started with a raptor 350 then a big bear 400 and now a grizzly 700. I have become very familiar with the yamaha atvs so I started a little spare time atv work and am currently working on a 2006 kodiak 450 4×4. Mainly I do creek riding and a lot of time in trails and deep water. Mods on my 09 Grizzly 700?aluminum skid plate ?badlands 3500 pound winch ?special edition brush guard ?moose racing air filter ?28x12x12 Zillas all the way around on ss212 machined rims ?hid headlights ?custom built snorkels 4 1.5 inch built myself and that’s pretty much it.
