Trailer width for can am outlander max

I am debating getting either an outlander or a max version. One of the questions I have is if the max will fit on a three place atv trailer. I want to be able to haul three on the trailer. Most three place trailers seem to be 81 to 83 inches wide and 14 feet long. Will the max fit on these easily, three atv crosswise on the trailer.

I appreciate your input

2008 Renegade 800 won’t idle

I have a 2008 can am renegade 800, bought second hand that has given me issues since I bought it. Originally It was having battery issues when I was driving & would shut off and turn back on. I brought it to a mechanic because it had no compression, changed the pistons & rings, compression is good, & since then it hasn’t been able to idle. I brought it into the dealership for them to diagnose it because I couldn’t figure it out. I replaced the battery, voltage regulator, & stator. Checked all the electrical. I went through 2 voltage regulators, & the dealership said when they put theirs on it doesn’t blow. I’m not getting any power from my stator to my battery so it’s not charging my battery but even then it should idle until my battery dies I though. They put a new ECU on & it still didn’t change anything. I am paying the dealership hundreds now & they still can’t tell me what’s wrong unless I "authorize more time " was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I have only used it 3 times & it’s been broken since I bought it now.

one way to stop

well was out riding snowmobile today, and went from about 45 mph to ZERO (was doing about 80-90 a few seconds prior to his!, so got LUCKY big time!

as I managed to find a piece of railroad track, someone so kindly hammered into the ground, and left sticking up about 6-7 inches
I see someone painted it, for ATV ‘s I guess to see
but didn’;t do me any good, under a ft of snow

and I just did a 100% rebuild to this sled and a LOT of goodies too, sunk a TON of $$ into it

and well, think its totaled now, waiting on insurance guys to come and tell me what it will be

to add insult to injury, I broke a trailer I had trying to recover it OH well, when it rains it pours

2017 questions

So does anyone remember that little piece of plastic that was the top part of I think it was the heated hand grips. That used to crack when heated up.
There as a guy on here making aluminum plates and selling them for something like 25.00 maybe.
Anyways what I’m trying to get at is this.
Does anyone know if they improved that part on the 2017. And if not can someone get me the info of the guy who makes the plates. I will need one. My bike comes in tomorrow at the dealer. He’s install by heated hang grips and throttle warmer.
I want to make sure I get this part taken care of.

2016 Sportsman 570 Won’t Stay Running

I’ve got a ’16 570 that stranded me on the mountains this last weekend… I ended up getting towed 20 miles over 2.5 hours out of the most nasty terrain in the dark. I will forever be in debt to the guy who yanked me out.

Quad started sputtering, and then I had no power to the ground. It was all of a sudden going well and then boom, a loud pop and then everything went nuts. I turned off the quad and then restart and it would start up but when giving throttle would pop and die. I was able to make it about 10 feet under serious duress and with almost no power and then it would die. I would get a huge backfire that would come up through the airbox every once in a while when I was trying to get it working. Nothing like a jolt to the junk from that.

The thing has 481 miles and 38.5 hours on it. I always keep the battery on a tender and it would turn over just fine. Even after getting it home and back fully charged up it would do the same thing.

I’ve suspected the fuel pump as something not perfect – when it is hot when riding for a while it will do the high pitched scream whine thing even when running. Now I can’t hear the fuel pump except on initial key to the on position and then it stops when pressure is built up.

I figured a video is worth a million words of explanation – so here is a short one.

I’m out of warranty by a few months so I would like to attempt to figure this out before forking over a huge amount of cash to the dealer. I would appreciate any ideas on where to start on this one…

Thanks
Jon
