I am trying to figure out where to put the second battery on our 2016 900-5 ranger crew. Would anyone happen to have done this or know how to do it? I think I already purchased everything that I need, I just don’t know of a good spot to put the 2nd battery. Also, has anyone ever installed light bars all the way around their ranger? I have 2 50 inch curved up front and 2 52 inch curved on the sides, and track lights inside. With 3 light bars turned on, I don’t seem to be killing the battery too bad, but as soon as I turn on the 4th light bar, my battery starts to drop and it is not very long before I see the LO voltage warning on the tac. Anyone have any ideas? For the most part, we use all 4 lights at the same time. We are on a lot of land and are going after hogs and coyotes. Thank you for any help that anyone can give. :add_best_wishes:

I am trying to diagnose a clunking/popping sound coming from the front transfer case area on my 95 fourtrax fw. I have already gone through the front diff and ruled it out, Im not sure what else it could be. I took the transfer case apart and the only issue I see is the bearings have a little bit of slack in them. Has anyone had any luck replacing these or should I just replace the whole thing? I a little slack enough to worry about or should I just clean it up and put it back on?
New guy here… have been reading these forus for months now and learned a great deal in the process and for that I thank you… 2 weeks ago I purchased a used 2010 850 touring eps that needed some work but overall was in very good shape… I pulled the lower right side black plastic exhaust cover cuz I could smell something getting hot and found my plastic side panel had burned through the heat shield and started to melt the plastic.. The temp here now is -3 degrees C and it took a whole 4 mins for my header to start glowing red about 3 inches back from the head. Any ideas on how to remedy this?? Pulled the two plugs and they were both a little sooty looking seeming to indicate a rich mixture. Machine is EFI. Not a plugged exhaust cuz I removed the muffler with no improvement and even tried a new air filter… please any ideas greatly appreciated! Sorry for long post..
