Just wanted to introduce myself. I just put down my deposit on a 2017 Renegade XMR 570. I have ridden quite a bit throughout the years, but this will be the first machine that I own personally. I can’t wait to pick it up! I should be able to take delivery on the machine within a week or two, depending on how long it takes to come in and my work schedule.
I was debating on two different machines, a 2016 Outlander XMR 650, and the 2017 Renegade XMR 570. Ultimately went with the Renegade and hope I won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to get it out on the trails and in the mud!
Installed the 2R tip and it sounds great but not for the riders behind me. So I want to try to make it quieter. I was thinking about cutting the tip off the stock spark arrestor and drilling some holes around the tip and the other end that is capped to flow more air which would make it sound better but not too loud, then bolt the 2R tip onto that. Has anyone tried something similar?
Hello Everyone. Wanted to stop in and say hello. If anyone is thinking of making a trip to ride the Hatfield McCoy Trails in WV, please check out our webpage. We have some amazing winter rates going on now. Thanks to all that read and special thank you for taking time to check us out..
I am in needed of a battery maintainer/trickle charger for my XMR. Which one do you all recommend? I still have the stock battery on mine. Will any trickle charger work with this battery?
I have run Heavy Shock in the transmission on my Harleys for years. Smooth shifts and much quieter. Has anyone used this in the rear diff of their Can Am. I am really trying to eliminate the rear diff noise. Thanks
95 scrambler 400 with coolant spewing from breather tube behind recoil. I’m sure this is bad. What did I break? Water pump or head gasket? Haven’t drained oil yet but will this weekend. Picture shows tube with coolant in it and where it’s coming from.
Central AZ at the foot of the beautiful Bradshaw mountains. No Grizz yet, I’m about 30 days away from having the $$ for an EFI, unless I find the right 660 that I could pull the trigger on now. Had: Sportsman 400, traded it with the Rhino for a jeep. Have: Honda Recon, traded an XT350 for it when I found out I was too old to ride a dirt bike.(ground is REALLY hard here) I’m sure enough about having a grizzly that I joined the forum here. I’ve had Yamaha skis, guitar, and 4 different motorcycles over the years, not really a brand fan boy but they DO make superior stuff.
I’ll post up what I end up getting when I get it; just missed an 06 660 wetlands special edition for 2900, and an 07 660 for 3000, they’re gone within 2 days of hitting Craigslist at those prices. Quads are very popular here, especially ones with tuning forks. I’ve got my eye on an 08 700 for 4500 with 3000 miles, that may be the one. For some reason I like the blue ones.
