Just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for the awesome posts. Just purchased a ’16 Sportsman XP1000 and love it!! It will primarily be used for ice fishing and am currently setting it up with heated grips, a windshield, auger mount, bucket holders, and tracks. Will post pics when I get it fully ice ready
I am getting a new XP 1000. I have a 2014 xp850. I have seen a couple
post mention frame stiffeners for the xp1000. Are the xp1000 frames weaker than the 850 I would have guessed they were pretty much the same. I don’t do a lot of jumping or real hard riding the hardest thing I do to the frame is going over fallen tree’s and bottom out while going over. Just like to get some info and opinions. Thanks in advance
New here and my 1st post. Is a clutch kit necessary or just a great improvement when installing tracks on an XP 1000?? Just purchased a new leftover ’16 and have plans on going with a set Camoplast 4S. RVS is only a couple hours north of me (have read good things about them) so I could run up and chat w/ them pretty easy if clutching is needed before putting on the tracks. This site has been awesome for answering 99% of my questions by searching. Hoping someone with tracks will chime in. Thanks!!!
New to the forum. Just bought my first outlander it’s a 2012 xt 1000. Very impressed my last 4×4 atv was a carb Polaris sportsman 500. The only other can AM I’ve owned were a 2009(I think lol) ds 450 and a 01 ds 650 Baja.
Already ordered a flex plow for it. And I’m going to change all the fluids. I also happen to have a new battery on the shelf for it so I might as well change it.
I’m having trouble with my 07 outlander 800 the rear axle keeps popping out of the diff. I’ve replaced trailing arm bearing and put a new cir clip on and it popped out again the other day on a ride. its getting frustrating not sure where to go from hereā¦.:th_smiliefrustrated
I have a 99 Honda Recon and my son got on the ATV when the engine was not running and started shifting the transmission foot shifter up and down. I have no clue how many times he shifted it and/or in which direction.
Now I can’t get it back into Neutral to start it and have no idea which gear it is currently in. Any suggestions?

On a 2013 Honda foreman I have no power to the start button or to the kill switch but I have 12 volts to the light switch. Ignition fuse is good. Any input before I go crazy?
