Heya folks. Just got my QSC clutch kit in the mail. Going to bring it to a polaris dealer for install within a day or two. My kit is for 27-28 inch tires however I wont be throwing those on till spring. For now I’m running stock 25 tires.
Anyone ever do this? Any real pros and cons to this? I figure its just going to spin them really really well.
Hey folks. I just bought a 2001 fourtrax 350 4×4. The bike is in awesome condition. Now. It has 4 brand new tires on it which is awesome. But what I noticed tonight is that the front are 25×8-12 and the rear are 24×9-11. With the rear tires being 1 inch smaller in overall diameter will this do any harm to gears or transmissions?

Im semi new to the forums and ive been thinking about replacing my old headlights for a led light bar to put in its place. I dont know if its to much trouble to do it or to just put it above. I mainly use this bike to haul alot of stuff to and from places so i need the most rack space.
I am looking at buying a 2010 sportsman 500ho. It has approx 5000 miles. What should I look for? Is this a good year model? It is priced at $2000. I have not rode yet because the shop is working on the brakes. I am not that familiar with ATV’s. This one looks like it has a lot of moving parts with the suspension and all that could wear out soon with this many miles.
My sportsman just developed a squeal…. I’m thinking it’s a water pump bearing….. attached is a video with the squeal.
This just developed after I noticed that the reservoir was empty and some steam was starting to come out the top of the cap. I quickly shut it off when I heard the squealing. I toped off the reservoir and the coolant got sucked into the cooling lines. Than I topped it off again and the sound has gone down a little but it’s still there. I’m gonna let it cool and let the cooling system suck in that reservoir again and top it off and see what happens.
Any suggestions on what to look at or check would be great!
Btw I have ordere A shop service manual a few days ago so still waiting on its arrival.
