Post Picture

I could use some help on showing pictures on a thread; as an example, I have included a picture of my rancher from today, clicked on "picture icon" above and it wants a url, no problem and inserted the url where my picture is located, here on the forum, but thought it might be displayed as a thumbnail, not what is showing, so I’m missing something here…

Could use a hand…

Added Front and Rear Racks

I ordered, received and installed these racks yesterday. Overall, I am satisfied with the racks, just debating on whether to have them actually welded to the existing racks (makes it permanent), less rattles and lower profile vs. ability to remove relatively easy. Any inputs or thoughts on keeping it removal vs. welded or any experience good or bad with these kinds of racks…Click the image to open in full size.

2006 Sportsman 800 (list of multiple fixes) – runs great now

I have a 2006 Sportsman 800 that had numerous problems because of wear and tear, as well as adverse riding conditions (i.e. spends a lot of time crossing creek beds, in water, etc.).

Several people on this forum helped point me in the right direction this past month so I figured the least I could do is pay it back by helping someone else (I’m not a mechanic, but am mechanically inclined). Below is a list of problems that I encountered, fixes, parts I purchased, part numbers, etc. Most of parts came from Partzilla, but not all of them.

I might have spent $50-$75 that I didn’t have to in the process, but most all of the items (especially coolant fan, instrument cluster, fuel gauge/sending unit, wiring harnesses) were simply shot. Also, the two wiring harnesses (Coolant Temp Sensor and T-BAP/MAP) purchased from OTB Powersports were critical to the repair – I would highly recommend their products (first time purchaser of OTB and not an affiliate or employee).

reaching top speed

how long usage should i wait before my ATV reach top speed ?
my ATV has only 700 miles and top spedd is 42mph, it is a rancher FA 420 2013, and is supposed to go up to 50 mph.

some people has told me it is not reaching 50 mph because the motor is to new, and it needs some usage first, to be able to reach top spedd of 80 mph.

Snow plow OEM Polaris mount? 2004 600

Hi guys I have an 04 600 in pretty good shape and i found a used Polaris plow that the guy said came off the same atv and he gave me what he called the mount for it. Can’t find any diagrams or instructions and I’m struggling to put it all together … it feels like it is missing a piece?? I can post pics if it helps but does anyone have a polaris plow on their sportsman that can help me out?

It’s the style that runs all the way underneath to the trailer hitch.
