From the Octagon to ATVs + Video

ATV riding is a great way to unwind after a long week of working. But when you have one of the most physically taxing and intense jobs in the world, that time spent enjoying the trails can mean even more.

Miesha Tate, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, and Bryan Caraway, UFC men’s bantamweight contender, were able to escape the grind of a fighter’s life this summer with a powersports vacation in Ontario, Canada. The trip came just three weeks after Tate lost her UFC championship and gave her a chance to recharge.

‘I live a very busy lifestyle – I live in Las Vegas and I’m constantly around people. So when I want to escape somewhere, I really want to escape,’ says Tate. ‘Coming up to Ontario, it’s something I’d wanted to do for some time because I’ve always heard how beautiful it was up here and how amazing and surreal it is.’

Hi new here. I started reading in here bc I was going to find new plastic for mine and do a few extra things. Unfortunately I now have a spark plug broken off in the head and I mangled the head trying to extract it.

I’m parting it out. What’s not good:
Front and rear plastic (main body) pretty beat up
cylinder head
Front and rear carriers have been repaired and coated in truck bed liner… a few dents and dings

Everything else is in decent condition and I can take pics of anything you want

’13 Sportsman 500 belt slapping the housing

So I put a new oem belt on my 500 a few weeks after I bought it this summer cause I needed a spare and it had a g force belt on it. I’ve read the g force belts are good but the oem are still the best. Well after about 4 rides or so I noticed a popping noise coming from the housing around the belt. I’ve read where it can get slack in it and this happen, and once it warms up good it doesn’t do it. What could cause the belt to stretch out so quick? I only ran it on dirt/mud trails and it was always in low gear. I cleaned the clutches real well too when I replaced the springs the same time I put the new belt on. Just want to see if I did something common without realizing it to make this happen. Belt can’t have more than 150 miles on it.

Cold Start

This has happened to me twice now, I have a 07 700 Grizz and both times I trailerd it while it was cold out, I couldnt get the bike to start, I had to get 3 buddies aim their exhaust on my bike to warm it up in order to start it. I really dont know if it actually helps but thats all I got. Sitting in my garage it will start anytime, its when it gets on the trailer it does this.
