The Scrambler was in desperate need of some pampering so I ordered up the following:
– EPI Clutch – Thanks to Dave at EPI (What a huge wealth of knowledge that guy is!!!)
– Big Gun Duals Slip On
– Fasst Flexx Handlebars (Found these with 2 rides on them in perfect condition for $200)
– ROX Risers
Also scheduling it in for a full fluid flush, clutch install and overall maintenance.
I will be doing the dash relocate in the plastic above the seat as pictured below: Attachment 65658

I’m at the point in my 2001 Grizzly 600 build where rims and tires are next. I’ve been flip flopping between 26 and 27" Mudbugs for a long time. I’m really leaning towards the 27’s but I’m afraid of clearance issues. Rims are going to be Moose 387X 12". I’m thinking 27×10’s on the front, 27×12’s on the rear. No lift kit is installed or is going to be installed. I want to keep the suspension stock height.
I know people run 27’s on stock 600’s but I’m curious about the Mudbugs specifically since as we all know a 27" tire isn’t necessarily a 27" tire. Lots of variation between models and brands.
Any help would be appreciated. Tires will be mail ordered and I’d hate to have to return them.
I am looking at getting a light bar for my 700. I don’t ride at night all that often but I’m tired of the crappy stock headlights and I think I want a 10" single row. I really like the low profile design.
I have read the lighting threads on here multiple times over the past month and I know there are certainly a lot of opinions on what is best. I see that MotoAlliance has their own line of lights now and they are/were a site sponsor. I stopped by their warehouse (about 7 miles away) to pick up a winch for a 660 I recently bought and I asked to take a look at their lights. They seem to have high quality construction and they look identical to the Black Oak LED bars from the pictures. I have never seen a Black Oak in person.
Just wondering if there are many members here that have any experience with Sirius? I am thinking a 10" single row would work nicely for me.
I always wanted a yellow Atv — But I take what the wife will let me have. No I found a broken down 2002 Foreman 450 in somebody’s back yard. Then paid to have a motor rebuilt from the case up. Took care of all the body work myself and built all the options that I needed.
But it was not yellow. The cost of ordering all new yellows was way to high just to make it yellow. The wife and I agreed that if I cold find a set used we could do the project.
Then I found them and the project got started. I also took the time to fix a few other small things. Build a few more options that would fit my riding style.

I have read some horror story’s about trying to change pads in the 96 machines and the pins sticking. Has anyone switched calipers from another machine >? If so what fit?

Apparently I have a 2004 500 HO Mossy Oak and NOT a 2003. I joined a FB group and someone pointed out that my plastics, flares and bumpers/racks are 2004. I don’t have a title but the 10th number in on the frame is a 4, which means it’s obviously a 2004. It must be an EARLY 2004 as it has Hilliard drive hubs on each wheels and NOT a central drive. Did Polaris build early 2004’s with left over 2003 parts but used the newer cosmetics? Below are some pics of mine…..
