NOT HAPPY !!

I rode my 2016 Grizz, which I love BTW. I drove all over even on abandoned train tracks! Everywhere I went today is or was FAR from home (I have tracks on so my wheeler is now my sled!). I cleaned the ice build up on the rear off the quad and checked my front boots. Then I decided to go and get a pallet from behind my shop and create a DIY groomer.

I was dragging the pallet to my shop and my machine JUST QUIT!! NO GO, head lights and tail lights work BUT NO DASH, NO WINCH NO STARTER NO BUZZ FROM THE FUEL PUMP , NOTHING!!!

This is a friggen 2016 here not a 1992!!!!! I googled it and NOTHING!!! I guess a 2016 is too new, lots on 09s etc..
I use my Quad in winter ATLEAST 4 times a day to take the dog out since I can’t walk in snow (I have neurological ataxia) So my TOOL not TOY is outta commission ! I’m glad it broke-down close and NOT WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the woods!

Rancher shift/speedo problems

Hello all,

I have a 2000 Honda Rancher 350 ES that has been having some problems that I need to fix. What happens is that it will start and shift but after a little the shifter stops working and I have no speed at all, just says 0.

The shift motor works, replaced an ECU that was newish from a foreman I had laying around and all fuses are good and new. Just replaced the wire harness because the fuse box on the old one was crappy and the same issue was kind of there. It was working yesterday for a little and went to move it today and nothing.

When shifting though if it stops when riding I can shut it off then turn it back on and the shifting comes back until it stops again.

Need help please and any info would be appreciated!

Snow Day with a Yamaha YXZ1000R + Video

Quote:

When I borrowed a YXZ1000R from Yamaha Canada for a trip to northeastern Ontario, I don’t think they imagined it would be covered in ice and snow by the time we were done driving it. Truth be told, I didn’t imagine that either, but you don’t throw away a chance to have an awesome day just because Mother Nature threw a little tantrum.

Just a couple days before driving up north, much of Ontario was unseasonably warm. By the time I loaded up the car, that all changed. It was snowing a little in Toronto and as I worked my way up north on Hwy. 400 to Hwy. 11 it was snowing a little harder.

When my cameraman and I arrived at Cedar Gables Lodge in Bonfield, Ontario (about three and a half hours northeast of Toronto), it looked like winter. Fortunately, the Lodge was able to warm us up with a big dinner before heading to our suite for the night.

A hot breakfast was waiting for us in the morning, which was the perfect start to what would be a fairly chilly day on the Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System (VMUTS) in Bonfield. We were able to load up the bright yellow YXZ1000R and a Yamaha Grizzly 700 and ride directly to the trails from Cedar Gables Lodge. The accessory windshield on the YXZ really came in handy here, as it kept the cold wind off my hands and face. But even on the Grizzly you could stay warm enough if you just dressed for the weather.
