First post here, looking to hear everyone’s opinions on what model 570 to purchase. I’ve done some research into this, and I have searched through the topics on here but haven’t really been able to come to a decision myself.
I’m looking to buy a new wheeler (first one ever) and want to know what is worth it to get vs what isn’t. I know I want power steering for sure. I really can’t decide on to spring for the SP model or just do the base with eps. It will mostly be used to plow my driveway and short little day trips possibly. I plan on picking up the 60 inch plow with it when I purchase the wheeler as well.
I’ve been a Yamaha loyalist for years and am looking to buy a used Grizzly. Found an 07 with skid plates, winch, aftermarket front bumper and an ITP big wheel kit. It’s also the camo edition with EPS. Has 3000 miles and 300 hours. The owner stated he used it for hunting. It looks good and well taken care of. He’s asking $5200 and with cash in hand I might me able to get him down to $4500. Does this sound like a good deal? Just looking for some insight from people with experience. This seemed to be the best place to start. Any suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated.
Hi,was wondering if I run 27"inch mega mayhem’s on my 2015 Honda Forman Rubicon 500 will it damage it reason for asking if my brother bought me a set for Christmas. Thanks
My 2015 has been running hotter than my 09/550 ever did, from day one. I brought it into a dealership to get this checked and they couldn’t replicate what happened and charged me $180 back in july. I am not knocking them, I watched and they worked on it for quite a while. Something similar happened during archery season and I parked it and used 450 instead. After close examination and checking valve clearances and coolant flow, I discovered that my cam is retarded by a complete tooth and I suspect this is possibly the cause of my heat issues. I purchased a 4yr extended on this machine because of the heat issue.
Just wondering which dealership in NEPA area does good warrantee service without trying to hand customer a bill for Yamahas fckup ???:gcrules:
I just picked up a gently used Sportsman 400. I noticed the rear brakes squeak like they are staying a little engaged. How do i adjust that? Also i am need to do some maintenance, and i see there is a brake reservoir on the right side underneath the seat. I noticed, its completely empty. Im going to put some brake fluid in there. Is there anything i need to do afterwards? Also, do i add fluid to left brake lever on the handlebars, or does that get feed from the reservoir underneath the seat?
Problem:
I have a 2012 Polaris Sportsman 850 touring and I bought a plow assembly which included the plow, frame and mounting plate, however, the mounting plate didn’t fit on my ATV so I bought another mounting plate for my ATV (it is a Glacier II mounting plate – part # 2876593) and installed it and guess what? It wasn’t the correct one. Connection bars are too wide on the mounting plate as you can see on the last photo. Before, I buy another mounting plate, I hope someone out there knows the correct mount for this application.
I don’t know exactly what the make/model of plow frame I have but I’ve attached a few pics.
Hey, my Dad is trying to locate a 99 thermosensor for his 99 magnum. We’ve been told that this part has been discontinued. Will a 2000 work? Or does anyone have ideas on where I can locate one?
What’s the story on the Foreman 400? It looks like they set lower and have some goofy looking cover over the handlebars. Found a 1999 with a plow and 2,000 miles for $2,500 obo. I think that’s steep
Does anyone use the additional plow wings for cycle country plows? I want to make a couple sets but would like some dimensions from them before I start cutting steel. I have access to Solidworks and a plasma table, just need the contour of the main plate.
