HELLO-just-bought-a-1996-sportsman-500-yesterday-any-hints-on-maintainence-would-be-greatly-welcomed—have-a-good-day–

TRX300 has winch, Foreman has winch and plow. Both looks to be in good condition. TRX $1,750 and Foreman $2,000.
Which would you buy and why?
Prices seems high to you guys, but in this area atvs and 4×4 trucks usually don’t come reasonable…especially ones in good condition. Even junk that doesn’t run goes for $4-$600

Parked bike last year, working OK. Have had shifting trouble in the past and used manual shifter lever once in awhile to overcome intermittent shifting problem, usually when very cold outside temp.
Now ES won’t work and cannot move manual shifter lever either. Can push bike backward/forward by hand.
HELP PLEASE

We just bought a the 650 Max with a set a tracks to push snow with plow. Used it about 4 times and it looks like the belt is blown. Don’t want to open it up to check if that is the issue cause the bike is still on warranty. If it is the belt any idea why it would break?

Brought my 2017 570 EPS home today, did some light riding for a combined 1 hr. and heard ‘clunk clunk clunk’.. No forward no reverse. Hopped off and saw the drive shaft came apart at the articulating knuckle or whatever the joint is called.. I could tell that either Polaris forgot to put the pin in or it was crappy and worked itself out. Had the dealer send a mechanic out right away. Dude pounded a compression pin in and all seems ok. I’m not bitching, just throwing it out there. I guess check your pins.. My snowplow needed some tightening down too when it got home.
