I have to replace my frame (broken at lower A-arm mounts). I can’t seem to find a 2007 frame right now — new or used. When they are available, used seems to be almost the same price as new. OEM sources say "backordered." I can find 2009 new and used. Two questions: 1 — Can I use a 2009 frame or other years? 2 — am i limited to the FM? I am getting conflicting information from parts/OEM dealers. Some say the part number is different for the 2007 (vs. 2009) so they aren’t at all the same. Some say everything should fit fine on a 2009 frame. I am concerned about believing a "should" when this is going to cost me $600 plus. If the difference is very minor, i have someone who can weld a bracket or something like that for me.

2006 predator 500
I week ago I bought a 2006 predator 500. I ran it for about 3 hours then went to start it it started up fine but bogged out about 1 minute later. Tried to start it back up and would only start with choke on. After that I found out that the battery cables were loose. Long story short I had to buy a new battery thinking that would fix my problem. Bought a new battery poured the acid in and charged it up installed it now I can hear the starter turning fast like it should but the engine is not turning over. Yesterday it started for about a minute or two and I had to give it gas so it would not stall but as soon as I let off he gas it would die. Now the only thing happening when I press he start button is the starter turning but no signs of the engine turning over at all. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

2009 Honda TRX420FA/FPA FOURTRAX RANCHER AT w/PS clutch slipping bad!!!!! Help!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone! So here’s the back story on my 2009 Honda Rancher 420… Bought it in late August of this year from a guy that did a lot of plowing with it. Everything was stock and really good condition. Ran good for a while and then the notorious ESP started acting up so I fixed it by really jamming it in there and siliconing the crap out of it and she hasn’t acted up since. Stock tires were going on it so I threw some ITP wheels paired with Kenda Bear Claws on it. Took it out to the trails to test em and swamp it(found out a stick or something ripped off the hose going from the air box to the engine and she flooded with muddy water. Clutch was slipping because it was all water… . So towed it back. Drained it, removed filter, got 3 more filters and ALOT OF OIL. Threw two filters in there as the flusher filter and kept flushing it with oil(was using automotive oil and didn’t even think about it to flush it) and that’s when the clutch slipped the second time and that’s when I found out the difference between the oils and why you shouldn’t even use the auto oil to flush it because of the friction inhibitors… But it stopped after I put Hondas oil in there for a week then it slipped once on my trail so I let it cool for 5 mins and it worked ever since until yesterday. Now she won’t move at all. Just cut off while riding. Oil looks good and it’s Honda recommended oil. Is she fried? How much to replace? How much work is involved? Can I just get some more friction plates? Is it just an easy fix to readjust since I put more strain on there with the new tires and wheels? Thank you!
New to Polaris from FL
Hello all,
I am new to having a Polaris ATV, came from a 2006 Can AM Outlander 800, then to a Yamaha Rhino and now to a Polaris Sportsman 1000 XP touring. So far the machine is great. Looking forward to any advice that comes my way.
What about Canada eh?
So I’m trying to build up my 99 300fw and all the good aftermarket parts are from the states. I’m not worried about the tires and rims but it’s stuff like the brake conversion kits. Are there any Canadian distributors? If I buy them directly from the states it literally cost double with our dollar being so bad right now then add on brokerage and shipping.
Any input from fellow canuks would be great…. thanks
